"Are you scared because your dad is the sheriff?"
"Why do you keep on asking me that?"
"I won't stop until I get a proper answer."
Lana Jane Willson, just a depressed and misunderstood geeky teenager because of her glasses and her dad being the Sher...
"Morning daddy how was work?" I asked attempting my best smile as I walked over to him.
I heard the guys snicker behind me and I knew they would tease me afterward but I didn't care, I'm too annoyed at them.
"Was fine...why are they here? And who's cars and-" he said gesturing to the boys, then to the cars and finally at the motorcycle.
"And what the hell is it doing on my lawn?" he asked gesturing to the motorcycle.
"Sorry sir...there was nowhere else to park it," Blake said with a look of boredom on his face.
Did he even mean it?
Well, it was true since the rest of the guys took up the rest of the space with their vehicles.
"I ask again Lana, what are they doing here?" he asked rubbing his temples as he stared at the guys behind me.
I glanced over at them who were awkwardly standing there glaring at each other.
"Err...they wanted to give me a ride to school," I said in a soft tone. My dad gave a slight nod and looked at the motorcycle again.
"Well, you're no way in hell getting on that thing." He said putting his hands on his hips. I tried so hard not to laugh as I looked over at Blake who was now glaring at my dad.
"Why are you all here? I thought Ethan takes my daughter to school." He said looking at Ethan's car.
Which today was a different car, a red Lamborghini might I add. I looked over at Ethan who was smirking; I rolled my eyes as I glanced back at my dad. Of course, my dad would choose Ethan, he gets a discount on all his sportswear and Ethan's family is well known in Chicago.
"Well dad I have been on each and every one of these vehicles and I can sure tell you they are lovely drivers and keep me safe," I said looking at my dad with big blue eyes.
Hope it still works. He glanced over at the motorcycle, then the truck, then Aidan's Subaru and then the Lamborghini.
"Well go ahead...and have a nice day." He said smiling at me.
My smile grew wide as I looked back at the boys; they were like dogs waiting for me to throw the stick, in this case, to tell them whom I'll be going with.
"I'll see you guys in school," I said giving a nod then walked pass the motorcycle, around the truck and through Aidan and Ethan's car.
I began to walk on the side of the road and turned around to see them staring at me. My dad, on the other hand, had a satisfied look on his face as he made his way into the house.
They all stared at each other then raced to their vehicles, my eyes widened, as I knew what they were doing. I started running as I heard their vehicles start up.
Reason being that I didn't choose any of them because I didn't want any favoritism. They'd just end up fighting and it will make things awkward and then eventually one of them will...will...err...fall for me?
Then break my heart!
Lana Willson they are narcissistic players, they are meant to break girls' hearts and not fall in love!
I ran with all my might as to not to get them pull up next to me. I looked back and saw Blake on his bike.
I ran even faster as I heard a car's motor idling. I looked back once more to see Ethan's car right next to Blake, he glared at Ethan and it's as if Blake's bike came to life at the sound it made.
