"Are you scared because your dad is the sheriff?"
"Why do you keep on asking me that?"
"I won't stop until I get a proper answer."

It Isn't Over
Silence stretched between us as the only thing to be heard was the loud music playing. Out the corner of my eye I could see Blake getting up from his mother's bed.
"Well that's a bummer." He stated then swayed a bit from drinking too much.
"What's gonna happen now?" Ethan asked as he looked at me.
"My dad will probably question you guys again if anything comes up." I answered causing him to nod.
"Anything else?" Blake asked as he placed a hand on the doorknob.
I slowly shook my head causing him to smile. I watched as he opened the door then walked out. Carter and Ethan followed but Aidan stayed.
"What do you think James is planning?" Aidan asked as he stared at the ground.
"I don't know. I just hope that nobody gets hurt." I mumbled then folded my arms.
"How did you know that he is good with identities?"
"Well when we had the cocaine I kept in contact with him the most. One of his men told me, I think it was Ernst." Aidan replied then shoved his hands in his pockets.
"Does Tiffany know you're here?" I asked thinking about what's happening in this house.
"Yeah, I just came to hang out with my cousins and friends." He replied while biting his lip.
"Okay." I said then began to walk out of the room. I turned back to see Aidan still standing with his hands shoved in his pockets as he stared at the ground. He had his thinking face on and I decided to close the door and leave him to think.
Walking down the hall I bobbed my head to Last Resort by Papa Roach then walked into the living room. It was surrounded by people smoking, talking or snorting drugs off the table. Some guys were even doing it off girls' bodies.

"Lana!" Jaden exclaimed as he motioned me to sit next to him.
I slowly shook my head but he just tilted his head not taking no for an answer. Jaden Reid was bad news. Not just his wild parties but also the fact that he's another version of Parker made me uncomfortable.
Just then I felt someone picking me up by the arms and bringing me to Jaden. The guy forced me down on the sofa right next to Jaden who was snorting drugs using a rolled up dollar bill.
"How are you doing Lana Willson?" he asked while tilting his head back and pressing his one nostril. I could see the sweat on his forehead either from the drugs or the congested room. It made his ebony skin tone glow and I glanced down to his biceps.
