I woke up. I couldn't feel anything because of the pain. I couldn't move.

My memory is very small. I still remember that someone pulled me out of something and carried me away. I think I saw some kind of plane in the dark... Must have been a helicopter.
But then? I remember that I woke up in a room, all brighten up. A few other people were in the same room as me.
'Mom? Dad?' I tried to say. I didn't know where I was or what happened. A doctor came up to me and checked some stuff. Then it all gets blurry.
A next broken piece I remember is that I was surrounded by many people and that they tried to talk to me. I didn't understand them. They spoke a different language, but two of them stayed with me for a long time. My recovery took months. One day they explained that I was in a small group of people which could be saved from a huge tsunami in Australia.

When I successfully recovered, I helped out at the same'hospital' - just to get a place to stay. I had nothing until an Indian family took me to them. I started a new life. A life in India.
