Chapter 8

Chapter 8:

Renee's POV:

Night fell. The time I'd been dreading. I walked to the rock I'd met Niall at the night before, medical supplies bundled in my arms. As promised, he was there waiting for me.

"Thank goodness!" Niall cried softly. "I thought you backed out!"

I wish I had. I thought irritably.

"Come this way." Niall led me through the winding trees and over fallen logs, looking back now and then to see if I was still following.

A somewhat hidden cave came into view. In order to find it, I think you had to know what you're looking for.

It was dark, a small fire emitted from its depths. I uneasily looked inside. What if this was a trap? What if they wanted to kill me?

Niall gently pushed me inside and I glared at him.

Four outlines came into view. They all stared at me in shock.

"Niall!" Harry growled, "Why'd you bring HER here!?"

I winced at the anger in his voice and knew this was a surprise to all of them.

"You bloody fool!" Louis gasped. "She'll go and tell the rest of them!"

I looked at the two who were glaring at Niall angrily.

"She can help Liam!" Niall objected. "She promised not to..."

"Their promises mean nothing!" Louis snarled. He turned to me then. "Get out!"

Anger surged in me. No one would talk to me that way! Especially a member of 1D!

"I'm here to help one of your bandmates and if you don't accept it, Maddie WILL find you and kill you!"

Harry opened and closed his mouth and finally led me to Liam.

I gasped when I saw him, blood poured from a gash in his leg and it bent in an awkward position.

"Will he be okay?" I felt Niall walk up behind me.

"Yea. Ill patch him up. But I'll have to come every night to check on him." This was NOT good!

"That sounds fine." Niall nodded. "We'll soon be on our way."

I nodded. No they wouldn't. They'd be here for at least a month or two. Enough time for Maddie to find them.
