Maddie's POV:
Renee didn't show up at breakfast. Can't say I blame her. She looks horrid. She developed a cough in the night. That river was heartless... She told me she fell in. Clumsy Renee. She's lucky she didn't drown... Wait. How didn't she drown? Who pulled her out of the river?
Renee's POV:
I couldn't tend to Liam tonight. My cold had me weak and I could hardly stand up. Maybe it's for the best. This way I won't have to see Niall. His olive green eyes.. His fluffy hair... No. Stop. These thoughts are ridiculous! I might have swallowed to much water. I'd take a nap, and when I wake, ill hate his guys again. Right?
Niall's POV:
I can't get Renee off my mind and the lads are starting to notice it to. Harry asked me how I felt about her.
"She's the enemy." Is all I said. "I hate her." That was a blatant lie.
There was something about her... Her aroma. Her intoxicating beauty...
This is stupid. I'm thinking about her all wrong. She's second in command to the girl wanting us dead. She will heal Liam and we'll be on our way. That's that.
