Chapter 29:

Sofia's POV:

I was a little shocked when Maddie pulled the gun on Niall. Right in front of Renee. Well after all, she did break our trust(haha). I looked to Maddie, her jaw was clenched tightly and her hand shook a little. Was she nervous? Or was she driven by anger... I can't tell. The anger one seems a bit more real though... I patted Tiberous' head and kept watching the scene unraveling before my eyes. It was finally getting interesting. Where the hell is Sharptooth? Probably lost in the woods, he was the dumbass of the pair anyways...

Maddie's POV:

"Don't kill him." Renee pleaded. "Maddie please. You're not a killer."

"How do you know what I am!?" I challenged her, keeping the gun aimed at Niall's chest.

"I'm your best friend..."

"Not anymore." I growled. "You wouldn't have stabbed us in the back if you were."

"I didn't stab you in the back." Renee said calmly. "You wouldn't have understood."

I felt my gaze soften a bit. "I agree. I wouldn't have... But that's not an excuse..."

"You're right. It's not." Renee agreed. "But don't kill him for the mistake I made."

God dammit. Now it's getting sappy. I don't know what possessed me to do it, but I dropped the gun.

"I... I was wrong." I looked at my feet. "Sorry."

Renee ran over and hugged me. "It's okay."

There was something off though... A noise that didn't fit. The sound of a trigger... I looked over Renee's shoulder. Harry had the gun.

I shoved her away quickly. "Drop it."

"Make me." He sneered.

"Harry." Niall gasped. "Why...?"

"Louis is dead and it's all your fault." He pointed the gun at me. "Because of you, I lost my best friend!"

"It was his own pride that took him. Trying to fend off a beast." I stuck my nose in the air.

"A beast YOU sent out after us." Harry laughed like he was insane. I actually felt something... Fear.

"Give me the gun." Niall walked over to Harry and grabbed for it.

What happened next made us all gasp in shock. Harry turned the gun on Niall and shot him directly in the heart. He let out a blood curdling scream before falling to the ground in a heap.

"NO!" Renee ran to Niall's side and kelt down. She ripped part of her sleeve off and pressed it to his chest.

"Get me bandages! NOW!" She ordered.

"No one leaves!" Harry snapped. "You're all going to die as Louis did. In PAIN!"

"You maniac!" Maddie hissed. "You shot your own bandmate!"

"I think I'll have the most pleasure killing you Maddie." Harry sneered. "Such a pretty face, soon, a bullet through it."

Zayn stepped forward beside Harry. "You all should die."

"Not you too!" RayAnne cried out.

"This is for Louis." Harry raised the gun again.
