Chapter 14:
Niall's POV:
She wasn't breathing! I pressed down hard on her chest but that didn't seem to work. I finally leaned over her and blew into her mouth. She immediately coughed up a bunch of water and laid back, exhausted.
Renee's POV:
My eyes flutters open and locked with kind green ones. Niall was bent over me, concern edging his face.
"What happened?" I asked quietly.
"You almost drowned silly." He chuckled.
I let the thought process and finally looked at him again. "Did... Did you save me?"
"Yea." He shrugged.
"Even if my best friend is trying to kill you?" I asked, a smile creeping onto my face.
"I couldn't watch you drown." He looked at me worriedly.
"Thank you." I breathed.
"Welcome." We both looked into each other's eyes for a minute before I looked away, blushing.
He did to and stood up.
"You don't have to tend to Liam tonight. He's doing fine. Go home and rest."
"Uh.. Yea. Okay." I stutters like an idiot. "Thanks again Niall."
"Be careful." He smiled a goofy smile. "We wouldn't want you falling into the river again."
