A/N: My apologies for the lateness of this update, I got a bit busy yesterday and didn't have enough time to edit and post this chapter. But now, here it is! And I hope you enjoy it! After all, it does feature the most adorable ghost ever~

The songs are as follows; Quiet Water for above the dump, Pathetic House for the house, Spooktune for Spooktune, Spookwave for Spookwave, Ghouliday for Ghouliday, and Chill for the spacey-wacey part. That's it! Enjoy, guys!

Sans and Toriel had wandered closer to the path that lead up from the garbage dump. They weren't sure why, but they were just comfortable being in each other's presence. After a long while of talking, Sans and Toriel noticed Napstablook floating up from there. Sans waved nonchalantly at the incorporeal being, and Toriel waved gently at Napstablook, remembering him from the ruins. Sans wondered what he had been doing, but then again, Napstablook always had the same response. It usually consisted of nothing important. Toriel hummed contently, hoping to see Mari soon. After knowing she was on her way, Toriel couldn't help but know how well she was doing so far. She hoped she was doing okay, especially being on her own . . .

Mari waded through the last stretch of water before she finally got a shoe on the ramp. She looked down at her shorts and leggings, expecting them to be soaking wet with stinky smell. But it was strangely only the place where she had held Neelix close to her that was wet-nowhere else. Weird. Neelix had been soaking, and quite smelly, and he had been in the water. She turned back around and carefully stuck a hand into the water, pulling it out dry and clean. Like Toriel had said, it was incorporeal. But maybe there was something about how Neelix was that made it become corporeal. Well, they had both fallen down . . . but Neelix had fallen straight into the water, while she had fallen onto the flowers. Maybe it was connected to his velocity. Maybe the water in Waterfall became corporeal when something was falling on it-or it was falling on something. That explained the rain from before, and why Neelix had gotten soaked. She figured it made sense-if someone's falling down into the water, and it's incorporeal, then they would plummet to the hard ground, right? So wouldn't it be better for the water to become corporeal to cushion the blow?

Her curiosity satisfied, at least for the moment, she turned forward again, looking up the ramp, wondering where it led. She didn't hesitate to walk up, knowing Napstablook wouldn't knowingly do her any harm. She spotted them floating just beyond a long, horizontal, rectangular pond filled with dark water. There was a Save Point on her side, and she decided to go towards it, and the friendly ghost. But once she stepped forward, Napstablook turned around.

"hey . . . my house is up here . . . in case you want to see . . . or in case . . . you don't . . ." they said, before floating backwards up the path north from where Mari stood. She vowed to herself that she would indeed visit this nice specter, if only to ease their insecure heart. Mari walked up to the Save Point, unaware of Toriel and Sans nearby. She felt a calming tranquility. She was filled with DETERMINATION. Then she began to actually look around, seeing the path to the east, one to the left of the middle north path, and one to the right of the middle north path. It was when she turned to her right that she saw the pair of Monsters waiting for her attention. She immediately smiled and ran over, hugging Toriel tight, which for her meant her hands barely touching the tips of the other hand's fingers, her face hidden in Toriel's midsection. After a good long hug, she stepped away. Her smile dropped as she realized that she had just put the hand with Neelix and her shirt-which had been stained by Neelix-on Toriel's purple dress. She looked down, feeling ashamed at having ruined Toriel's pretty dress. "I'm sorry . . . I-I ruined it . . ." she said softly, the happy mood she had felt at seeing the two Monsters ruined as well. She already had the beginnings of tears in her eyes.
