Wasn't expecting that

Quite Tiny

Cara smiles and looks at it in shock while Raf pulls the blanket over her legs to give her some privacy. It's not long until the ambulance arrives.

Raf can't believe himself as he looks at the crying baby on Cara's chest. "Well done" he smiles as he strokes her knee.

Cara just takes deep breaths and looks at Raf "it's a boy" Raf smiles.

"He looks like you Raf" Cara says as she looks down at the little boy.

The paramedics take over as the come over and raf just stands and smiles to himself as he calls Serena again.

"She's had the baby... It's a boy" Raf says immediately as Serena answers the phone.  

"Oh that's great news and the paramedics are with you?" Serena asks.

"Yeah they are now, they've taken Cara and the baby" he says.

"You better go with them then" Serena says.

"I can't I've got the car, but I'll see how Cara is before they leave" Raf says as he ends the call and goes to see Cara.

Raf goes over to the ambulance and is blinded by the sight of Cara breast feeding the baby, "oh my god I'm sorry" Raf says as he turns his back.

Cara laughs "it's fine, they want me to feed him" Cara smiles as she winces a little. "Come over if you like, I don't mind" Cara smiles and Raf goes over to her.

"How are you Feeling?" Raf asks.

"Sore, but I'm okay" she smiles.

"Right so I'm going to go back to the cottage get our stuff together go to yours, get the baby stuff and tell Morven.... I'll ask get you a change of clothes and your over night bag... Then I'll come to the hospital" Raf smiles.

"That's fine" Cara smiles.

"Will you be okay on your own?" he asks.

She nods "I'll be fine" she says as raf kisses her cheek and the baby's head.

"See you soon" he smiles before leaving her.

Raf talks to the paramedic and then leaves and goes and collects their stuff from the cottage.

He stops off at Cara's and collects the baby's things also and heads back to the hospital waiting in a vast amount of traffic so it takes him a while.

When he finally gets to the hospital two hours late he goes straight to maternity to find Cara.

He goes up to see her sleeping so decides to leave her but sits next to her. He looks at the baby in the cot and smiles, he watches his chest rise and fall and decides to pick him up and have a little hold.

"Hello you" Raf coos. Raf smiles as he sits back down with the baby, "aren't you gorgeous" Raf smiles.

Raf smiles and just watches the baby boy in his arms. It's not long before Cara wakes up again.

"Hey" Raf smiles.

"Hi" Cara smiles back as she stretches out a little.

"How are you?" he asks.

"Tired and sore" Cara says.
