"I'm really sorry about Jack" Lucy sighs as she sits in the kitchen with Raf.

"Hey chin up sport... He's gone to a better place, less of this world to worry about" Raf smiles at Lucy.

Lucy nods, "what can I do to cheer Cara up?" she asks.

"She needs lots of cuddles right now" Raf smiles.

Lucy nods, "What about we go to McDonalds and I get you some dinner?" Raf suggests as he's not really sure what to do with Lucy.

"But mummy doesn't like me eating McDonald's" Lucy says.

"One isn't going to hurt" Raf smiles.
"Let's go" Raf smiles as he grabs his coat. "Cara I'm nipping out with Lucy for a bit" Raf says as him and Lucy go into the lounge to see Cara has settled a little.

"Coming to sit up front?" Raf smiles as he opens the car. I'm

"Yes!!" Lucy squeals.

"Mum never lets me sit in the front... She said when I'm as big as Cara I can" she smiles, Raf laughs and smiles.

She gets in the car and they head to McDonald's.

Meanwhile Cara and her mum sit and have a chat, "...I mum..." she mutters as she cries.

"What pet?" she says

"why am I so unlucky" she cries.

"There's plenty of other chances darling" Joan says.

"But none of them chances will be Jack will they" she cries.

"I know, how you feeling after your op?" Joan.

"Like shit" she mutters.

"Sore?" Joan asks.

Cara nods and smiles a little as she feels the pain ripping through her body.

"I can read you like a book, you're sore baby" she says.

"When have I never been in pain mum" Cara mutters.

"Aw why don't we go and get you some pain relief?" Joan asks.

"I'm fine" she says.

"Alright, well what about I make some dinner eh?" Joan asks.

"Oh I'm not hungry" Cara says.

"You need to eat something, how about I make you some toast?" she asks.

She shrugs and watches her mum walk into the kitchen, Joan makes her some toast and brings it into her.

She takes a small bite and puts it down, A while later Raf and Lucy come back.

"Cara!" Lucy smiles as she runs in.

"Did you enjoy your lunch?" Cara smiles and Lucy nods.

"Yeah we got you a McFlurry" Lucy smiles.

"Ah very nice" Cara smiles.

"Are you okay Cara?" Lucy asks.

"You've got to eat it now, or it'll melt" Lucy smiles.

"Yeah I will" she smiles as she takes it off her and looks at it.

"You should cuddle my teddy, he'll make you feel loads better" Lucy smiles as she can tell Cara is sad again.

"Yeah I will" she smiles as she takes it off her and looks at it.

"You should cuddle my teddy, he'll make you feel loads better" Lucy smiles as she can tell Cara is sad again.

Lucy sits herself on Cara's lap and hugs her tightly, "Don't be sad" Lucy sighs.

"Eat the ice cream Cara before I eat it" Lucy smiles.

"Okay" Cara smiles as Raf comes in.

Cara starts to eat the ice cream and dabs the spoon on Lucy's nose. "Hey" she giggles which makes Cara laugh.

"You're looking a bit brighter, how you feeling?" he smiles.

Cara just smiles and kisses Lucy's head, "Well how about I make you dinner Raf? It's the least I can do" Joan says.

"Oh that'd be lovely" Raf smiles.

Joan heads off to the kitchen, "Raf told me to cheer you up lot's, I don't like you being sad" Lucy smiles as she cuddles Cara.

"I'll be fine" she smiles.

"Pinky promise?" Lucy asks.

"Pinky" she sighs.

Lucy smiles and hugs Cara, "Will you come and watch me play my clarinet all by myself in my school show next week?" Lucy asks.
Cara stares into space and doesn't listen, "Cara" Lucy says as she taps her arm.

Cara snaps out of it and looks at Lucy "huh?" She says.

"Can you come listen to me playing my clarinet all my by myself in the show next week?" she asks
