Devil I Adored!

Part 6

Engagement Day

Ahaya and I were busy having our sort of dress rehearsal I had planned on wearing a light shade of orange sleeveless dress which was beaded on the edges where the sleeves ended with an oval neck. The top portion of the dress was designed with glittery material whereas the other portion was left plain. Ahaya would be wearing a pink silk dress which stuck to her body perfectly. She looked stunning without make up I stood there wondering how would she look in the evening. We were busy trying on each and every item of ours in front of the mirror giggling and mostly enjoying our time together. When we saw Anita burst into the room crying "I broke my shoe heel what am I going to wear?!" Ahaya and I stood there stunned we just had 3 to 4 hours until the engagement we had to get dressed get Anita to the parlor and the SHOE!!

We grabbed our purses and Anita rushed in the car and onto the shopping street we had to get her the shoe which perfectly matched her attire. And she had picked up a sea green color for engagement dress. It had already taken our designer friend to find us the perfect match how would we find the perfect one we had no clue.

But we set out on the streets like hunting vampires through every shop to find the color match. Finally we got the color at the last of all the shops it Jimmy Choo cost us more than the original one we had bought earlier. But we didn't have the time to go on looking for more. We dropped Anita at the parlor to get dressed and for her make up and rushed back home for ourselves.

Back home we realized we had not informed anyone about our whereabouts and in the havoc we had forgotten to carry our cell phones. As we reached we had death stares waiting for us but since there were other guests in the house we didn't really had to through the trouble of listening to any of the yelling. Thankfully Yuvril had everything under control.

At last the engagement!! Anita arrived in her sea green dress looking absolutely fabulous. I, Ahaya, Yuvril and Dani were standing right in front of the stage she walked down the aisle with her soon to be hubby winked at us blowing kisses to us and mouthing "Thank you". She seemed the happiest person that moment.

After the rings were exchanged the party actually started the parents and all older people walked to the other side of the garden and we had the dance floor to ourselves. We danced the heart out Yuvril had me in one arm and Ahaya in the other and we danced and laughed our way through the party. When the slow dance started I excused myself from there giving them privacy grinning back to Ahaya blowing a kiss to her I left the dance floor to sit down on and relax my feet which probably had blisters and at least 10-12 shoe bites by now.

I poured myself a glass of chilled water that's what my throat needed the most to quench my thirst. I was having so much fun dancing I didn't want to break out just to have glass of water that time. That's when I heard "I need some too... I'm thirsty like crazy.."
