Yuvril and Ahaya dropped me back at home while giving me loads of best wishes and good luck as if I was going out on a war.
Well it was nothing less than one!!
I glanced at the clock it was 4:30pm.
Well better later than never Amelie
"You're home!" my mom called from the lounge and I jumped to her voice not expecting her to be there.
"Hey I thought you would sleeping."
"No I wasn't getting any sleep, so where did you guys go? How come all of a sudden Yuvril and Ahaya came up today?"
"Ahh just like that they hadn't met me in awhile, so they thought let's meet up. And we just went for a drive. Came across a beautiful landscape so spent some time there."
"Okayy"
Come on Amelie.. Enough beating round the bush
Get to the point!!
She was about to get up from the couch when my gut kicked in and I blurted out saying "Mom two minutes?"
She looked at me in a suspicious manner and then said
"Yes I've been waiting."
Ohh there goes the Sherlock Holmes!
"There's something I've wanted to tell you from the past few days but I can't gather up the courage because I know you."
Ameliee don't for heaven's sake don't screw around!! Vihaan!!
My mother gave me a confused stare that pierced inside me and I couldn't take it anymore.
"Mom I'm seeing someone and its Vihaan"
*Silence*
"What did you just say?"
"Mom please don't say anything, don't jump on any conclusions. It's been months I just want to give it a try PLEASE just let me go with it. It's a promise nothing will go wrong. Trust me that's all I want from you. All I've ever wanted."
"You are in a relationship with someone?!! Without asking me!! And. You. Want. Me. To. Trust. You.?" She said with gritted teeth
"Mom I like him a lot, just give him a chance please. I know his flaws and willing to stick to him even with them. I know it won't be easy but just let me have it my way. And I won't blame you'll for anything."
"Do you not know what he did with Vitali?"
"Mom please don't you dare get her in between I hate her to bits and I don't want to talk about her in this. I just want your approval in this."
"Well the answer is No!"
"Okay give me a reason and I'll back off or I won't"
"What gave you the audacity to say that to me?"
"I want a reason mummy, give me a one god damn reason and I'll back off"
"He's not liked by anyone!"
"You think I care? I said a valid reason"
"Okay you're wish, if you want to see your father devastated when he finds out about this then go ahead. Then don't come back running to us if anything goes wrong. You'll get to know you're reason soon."
She stormed out of the room leaving me alone to handle myself. I couldn't tell Vihaan this; he would feel devastated after hearing this. He wouldn't want me to go against my family for him. He would hurt himself no doubt about that either.
Stuck again..

Why can't I get a chance with him?? Why won't anyone understand my feelings for him?
