My mom had stomped out of the lounge leaving me alone and senseless. I couldn't do anything I couldn't do anything. Tears started trickling down my eyes and before I broke down in the lounge I ran into my room and locked the door behind me.
I couldn't call Vihaan up, I couldn't tell him what had happened he would be devastated.
What do I do then?
No I'm not giving up on him! I'll prove it her that my faith in him is stronger than her whatever hoax *reasons* she has!
I was determined to keep the relationship on no matter what, but then Vihaan was the problem himself.
I was torn apart between the two my first love or my family. My family that brought me up or my first love that supported me, made me feel those emotions that I never thought ever existed, a new world to me. I wasn't one of those girls who would give up on relationships easily I wasn't Rach. I had put on so much of effort in the relationship to change him if I left him half way Vihaan would never get himself, his life back to normal.
What a dilemma god!!
Just what I needed!!
Hours passed by and I stayed in my room crying and fighting with my own subconscious. It taunted me, it snapped at me but didn't manage to answer the questions I had in mind.
I loved him.. I couldn't leave him half way..
There was a knock at my door around 9:30pm when I glanced at the clock and I heard my mom entered the room.
"Dinner is served.. Come on"
"I'm not hungry.. Please carry on"
"Why because I told you no for your relationship.. Amelie try and understand.." I cut her mid sentence.
"No mom you try and understand, you said no talking to boys I did that for all these years. I've not gone against your will just this once trust my decision and accept him. Nothing will wrong.. Vitali was past."
"Vitali is not the past and never will be.. She will always be there whether you like it or not. Whatever he did to her will always stay in the mind of everyone around you and it will question you and your decision someday or the other."
My mom's grip fastened on my arm even more than it had earlier.
"When the day comes to question my decision We.Will.Talk.Then." I said with gritted teeth and looked straight into my mom's eyes. This time showing all the confidence I had in Vihaan.
"What has he done to my child?"
"Trust!! Mom not much"
She stomped out of the room banging the door behind her.
I had never spoken to her like that!
She is my mom.. I love her!!
There was an emotional lava erupting beneath me, just then my phone started ringing and the person I didn't want to talk to at that time just had to call.
God seriously?? Anything else in mind!!
You only find me!
*Vihaan Calling*
"Hi Baby, you've been lost whole day today?" Vihaan's voice sounded so playful my heart ached with pain.
"Heyy.. I had actually gone out with Ahaya and Yuvril. Told them about you!"
"Oh ok.. So how many warnings did Yuvril throw at you? And any threat messages for me?" he asked giggling away
"Why do you think he would do that are you hiding something?" I asked not recognizing that my voice had turned stern.
"Amelie are you ok? You don't seem fine!"
"No no.. sorry I'm fine.. I.. just.. I.. don't know.. sorry" I scrambled with words
I didn't want to talk!!
"Did you have your dinner"
"No not in the mood of having it!"
Shit! No big mouth Amelie!! He hates it when you skip it!!
"You had a fight with your mom didn't you?"
"Yes"
"You won't tell me the reason and I won't ask quite frankly.. But you don't need to take it out on the food baby.. She loves you at the end of the day.. Screw the fight, she cooks you food.. Go on.. Have little bit for me.." he pleaded
Vihaan seriously!!
If only I could tell you what's going on!!
You wouldn't say anything even then..
"I'm not hungry Vihaan.."
"Baby just little.. Ahead I won't force it's your wish.. I'm off to bed sweet dreams love.. You need rest."
We said our good byes and I walked outside my room into the kitchen and quietly served myself little bit just to keep Vihaan's words.
When I returned back to my room and checked m cellphone there was a message waiting for me.
From Vihaan:
I knew you'll keep my word.. The food was delicious wasn't it? ;P
I smiled at his message wondering here I was keeping his word for my mother and there my family was against him just for his past mistakes.
Was I doing the right thing?
My family is judging.. He's not!!
Poor Amelie..
