I disconnected the call immediately, as I saw my mom standing by the door listening to the conversation.

"Are you asking him for permission?"

"I don't want to discuss any matter pertaining to Vihaan with you mom because you've just made up your mind to go against him so there's no point."

I picked up my towel and tried to get past her.

"You don't want to because you know what he did to Vitali; sending all those emails across to all the other boys regarding their physical relationship. And yet you are going out with the same boy."

"Mom!! This was years old and he regrets it.. Secondly your poor Vitali hasn't done enough."

I had possibly shouted on top of lungs that made her jump in astonishment.

"Here take a look, before she got into this relationship or whatever I've been receiving these constant emails from her regarding Vihaan. And then you expect me to attend her f*****g wedding!"

I threw my towel and anger and switched on my laptop and logged into my account. I opened all the email in her folder that I had made separately and had her read them.

"What?!! Nothing in her defense?"

"How do you know they are coming from her?"

"Mom these were not it, I received calls from her messages from. All nonsense bullshit!! Vihaan's sisters thought of confronting too but it would just create a mess, that's the reason we let the matter be and just the emails come by."

"You're coming for the wedding."

WHAT THE F**K!!!

"MOM!! Have you?? What the hell are you even thinking? You don't approve of Vihaan I understand but for God sake let me have this I don't want to attend someone's wedding who's tried to slash my relationship."

"I don't know who sent the email. Unless I'm not sure I can't take a decision."

"Mom please leave the room."

I stared at her with my arms folded and asked her to leave me alone.

Isolation at this point was bliss. From the world.

Aaaaaarggghhh!!

I had no idea how many people were involved with Vitali in pulling up this entire "break -up Vihaan and Amelie" plan and if was to attend the wedding how many would laugh at me.

That sly bitch!!

I picked up my towel again which was thrown on the bed and walked towards the bathroom to get a nice bath at least.

The entire time in the shower I was trying to cook up plans How to get away from a wedding. But this wasn't just any wedding my mom had clear cut plans of dragging me to it, now that I'd shown her the emails she would make sure that I go for the wedding.

Why do I get all the drama queens!!

After the shower I walked outside the bathroom with my hair wet and started looking for my hair dryer when I heard my mom call out for dinner.

"I'm not hungry!"

And the truth was that I was starving like piranha!

But I had no intentions of sitting and dining with my mom who was planning to drag me to someone's wedding who insulted me.

I put on some playlist on my phone and started drying my hair, the combination of both the music and the hair dryer was fair enough if anyone was even shouting to open the door I wouldn't be able to hear them anyway.

In the meantime I sat down to finished some of my assignments, with the music still on until it was 11:00pm and from the door's transom that the outside lights had been switched off.

Guessing everyone had fallen asleep I silently opened my door to the lounge and light footed sneaked into the kitchen to find myself something to eat. In the entire fight between family and boyfriend my life had become a complete mess.

I bought some chicken pie to my room and started eating, just as I had started to enjoy my delicious dinner

Vihaan Calling

Aaaaaarrggghhhhh wrong bloody timings Vihaan!!!

I reached for the phone and answered it with my mouthful.

"Hi Vihaan"

"You're eating this late? Let me guess.. you fought with your mom!"

I sighed at his comment, it was pointless arguing.

"She's making me go for the stupid wedding even after I showed her the emails FINALLY!!"

"You mean from months you had hid them from her?"

"Obviously, why do you think she was so quiet? That's because she didn't know!"

I again took a mouth full of chicken pie and gulped it down.

God did that taste delicious!!

"And she still wants you to go for the wedding even after the emails.. Wow! Go for it then!"

WHAT?!!

Was it me did I hear it wrong or what just really happened!!

"Are you drugged?"

"No. but if you're mom doesn't understand it I can't help you there Amelie."

"Ok."

I decided the better way to end this Vitali discussion was to Okay it. It was Vihaan he was going to blast off sometime now or later.

"What did she say after reading the emails?"

Oh shit!!

The chicken pie wouldn't go down my throat. If I was to tell him that mom didn't believe a single full stop present in the emails he'll shoot off like a rocket.

"Nothing!! she didn't say anything as such. Just nothing!"

"So what she just stared and walked out of the room?"

"Yeah exactly, also saying you're coming for the wedding."

I tried my level best to remain calm while speaking to Vihaan but at this moment that wasn't quite possible.

Knowing Vihaan's reaction to something is going to be bad and then lying to him about that just to keep him calm was scaring the crap out of me. Post the Zane-Vihaan lash out moment from then on, my outlook on Vihaan's anger has completely changed.

"Okaayyy."

I kept chanting the words please buy it, please buy it when suddenly he said

"I've to go right now, I'll speak to you tomorrow okay Bye love you"

"Love you too. Bye"

I let out a loud sigh as I saw the phone disconnect.

I felt horrible lying to him, but the truth would have hurt him even more.
