Amelie where was Vihaan an hour ago??
It was so damn Vitali messaging me.. But how low could she go?
"Hello.. Hello.. Amelie are you there?" Vihaan's voice brought me back from comatose.
Deciding not to hide anything from Vihaan this time. If we had to keep up the relationship we had to keep the trust in each other.
"Yeah Vihaan I'm here.. Listen baby.. whatever I'm going to tell you now you'll have to be really calm and please just don't lose your head. I'm Not at all doubting you of anything ok.. I just recieved two messages from an unknown number one saying 'are you speaking to Vihaan' and the other was 'ask him where he was an hour ago Amelie' . "
"WHAT THE F**K!" he shouted
Oh well he was pissed!!
"Vihaan what did I say about not loosing your calm?" I exclaimed
"What the hell do you want me to do then Amelie, Its obviously Vitali and she's bloody screwing around with your brains. Give me the number right now." he growled
I had no other option but to do as I was asked. It was very difficult to explain Vihaan when he was immensely angry at someone or something.
"You stay on hold and I'll call on this darn number." he said and I was put on hold
It had only been five to six minutes and Vihaan was back on line.
"What happened did you get to the number?" I asked
"No! She's not receiving the call. But Amelie this is getting too much."
"Vihaan it not that I'm doubting you but where were you an hour ago?" I asked
I knew my question was probably inappropriate for this situation, and he would loose his mind even more but curiosity was at its peak now and I had to now even if it didn't had to do anything with Vitali.
"I was with Ananth, but to tell you the truth she may have seen us because we were having our favorite soup in the same restaurant opposite her grandmother's house"
And there it was... The truth!
Wow!! Fairly played.. Vitali..
I didn't quite understand was Vihaan stupid enough to not notice what she was doing because he should've been knowing her more than me or was I that stupid to ask Vihaan the question that she provoked me to ask.
"Vihaan.. she saw you there and she sent me the text to see whether I ask you the question or not. But what she still hasn't realized is that you know all about the text messages and emails and the Facebook message. So all you now need to do is ignore and for god sake don't call on the number let her think that whatever the crap that she's thinking. She wants me to doubt you and she will do her best to do it.." I explained
"But why should you take her shit?"
Vihaan wasn't settling down. He constantly kept on cursing on top of his lungs. I knew it was not the anger it was the agonizing pain in him. He was ripped apart he felt he couldn't share his feelings with me, but what he didn't know I could read his anger and what the actual reason was behind it.
"Vihaan.. I'll take the shit as long as you're there with me. It's ok. I'm brave enough. I trust you" I assured him before I could throw the main question at him.
"No Amelie. You can't be that good.. you've been very patient with me all this while I can't let you be this patient with her to let this stop."
"Vihaan hon .. I want to know what's actually bothering you? I'm telling you she's not bothering me.. I know you're hurt but I want to hear it from you; the reason."
There was long pause after I spoke, Vihaan was definitely collecting the correct words to speak his heart out.
"You know all these years I've always wanted to get back with her, speak to her sort things out, but it obviously was impossible. Now when all this is happening I don't want it. But I just so wanted to ask her why now?"
"Why do you want to ask her when you don't want it Vihaan? Why do you want hurt yourself? It's not going to do much but make matters worse. It'll break your heart even more. I'm not an expert at all in first relationship break ups but they are not easy to overcome so whatever you do the answer will hurt you and will eventually hurt me."
"Why is she doing this Amelie?" he said softly and I could feel his voice soften even further
Long gone was the laughter riot Vihaan awhile ago. And here again was the same Vihaan I knew back to square one confused, heartbroken, guilty everything. How badly I wanted to bash that woman out of her senses; the more I wanted to comfort my man it wasn't his fault but he was still punishing himself.
"Ok screw this shit now!! Lets get ready for tomorrow.. It's Bonfire Party!! And I'm super excited for god sake don't spoil my mood because of her.." I tried changing the mood but in vain.
"I'm tired baby.. I'm off to bed.. I'll see you tomorrow at the party.. I love you"
"I know.. Go to bed.. don't think much.." I said and disconnected the line
My appetite for food had vanished thanks to this woman arrival in my life, I opened my room door and stepped outside to tell my mom that I would be skipping dinner today and I'd be going to sleep early. She gave me suspicious look and I quitely sneaked my way back to the room before her eyes threw more questions which my brain was not at all in the mood to process.
Oh damn I've to tell them about Vihaan too
Ahhh God!! one by one why can't you send problems one by one in my life!!
As I reached my room I drafted a 'Happy Birthday' message to Mich. As the clock struck twelve I pressed the send button and there my last task of the day was done. Cuddling up in bed I put the phone on my bedside table.
Whattay day
My phone started ringing at the bedside table, thinking it must be Mich calling to say thanks and for her usual taunt that I remebered her birthday I quickly got up and picked up my phone to my disappointment.
*Unknown Number Calling*
No bloody way!!!
Dammit Amelie pick up the call..
"Hello who's it?" I asked
"Don't act so naive, you have received my messages that's why Vihaan was calling me. So you told him about my messages?" she snapped at me
Oh this b****h!!
Cat fight Over Vihaan??
