"Anger is an acid that can do more harm to the vessel in which its is stored than to anything on which it is poured.."

-Mark Twain-

"You didn't have a class right?" asked Vihaan

"Na.. I was just sitting with these three playing chess. Actually the Hiara and Jaz were me and....."

Clearing his throat was somewhat a signal to me that I had again started talking about my friends and he had once again started feeling uncomfortable, so I had to stop half way discussing them.

"So what's up? Where are we going?" I asked

"Well you guys are going for lunch I'm handing the car over to your boyfriend because I have some work. So both you love struck birds carry on... I'll go see my own girlfriend."

Alvin stopped the car outside his girlfriend's apartment and passing a flashy grin to Vihaan and me he walked towards his girlfriend's apartment. Vihaan jumped towards the driver's seat and I came to sit in front on the passenger seat.

We headed off to the restaurant for our lunch. The drive to the restaurant was somewhat quiet because I didn't have much to say, my life didn't have anything other than the university affairs. My personal life including my outings had been completely banished, not that I was an everyday party person but yet again I had nothing else to talk about other than that. And now I had started to fear the questions Vihaan would ask 'What's up?'.

I would come home to tell Vihaan everything about how the day went by, but now things had started to get disturbing to him. And there wasn't much that I could do other than pray.

Where the heck did Vitali go when I needed her??

She could be like the perfect distraction needed..

Vitali had been out of contact for some while now. We had been assuming that she got the hint that we aren't taking her seriously so she buzzed off herself or something of that sort.

Ohh the do's and don'ts of a relationship!!

"So did you take an off today?" I asked finally breaking the ice between the two. It was becoming unbearable the silence between us. It was like two strangers meeting for the first time.

"Yeah, wanted to spend some quality time with my girlfriend! She's busy these days."

And there was the cornered grin hinting a taunt!!

I wanted to say something back, but it would have just killed the moment. Vihaan had taken an off from work just to spend time with me. Not many boyfriends do that kind of a thing.

I gulped down the words which erupted on the his taunt and apologize, though wasn't sure behind the reason of my apology when he was the one who had taunted me for a situation which was totally out of my control.

Ah!! Screw it!!

Finally we reached our destination and it didn't take me a single second to jump out of the car and rush into the restaurant. I could make out from the corner of my eye that Vihaan was watching me putting on sunglasses while locking the door, the way I made my way into the restaurant like a little girl.

The waiter ushered us to a table for two in the corner, handing us the menus he was away in a blink of an eye.

"What did you do out there?" asked Vihaan in a hushed voice but sternly
