I sat there in my room staring back at the broken pieces of the watch. Was it the watch or emotions or feelings that were broken by the person I loved dearly? What was it? Everything had stopped to make sense all that mattered to me was I had hurt someone I loved. I cried my heart out but the calmness just wouldn't follow.
*Beep* Beep*
I ran to attend my buzzing phone, secretly praying it would be Vihaan. As I saw the screen buzz with Vihaan's name my inner woman jumped with joy.
"Maybe he has realized his mistake and wants ho apologize, he loved me he wouldn't stay mad at me for such a thing no way!"
As my heart played these tricks I attended his call. "Vihaan.. I.. I'm sorry please forgive me I promise it won't happen again."
"Remember what I told you Amelia, if you don't keep me happy I will find my own happiness."
The words pierced through my ears and then my heart, it was as if senses had analyzed and concluded what he meant but my heart was still there believing it wasn't true.
"What do you mean Vihaan?"
"I'll fuck a prostitute Amelia, but I won't sleep with you ever."
Why? Why? Why would you do that? How could you be so selfish? How could I love a man who was this selfish?
Doubts, questions clouded my sanity. This couldn't be happening to me. I gathered the courage and spoke
"But you promised you'd never cheat on me. You said you love me"
*line disconnected*
As I heard the line drop, my heart skipped a beat I dialled his number frantically but no response
I sat there near my bed, now just shocked to what I heard.

"It will always be foolish to ask a cheater if they would ever cheat on you."
