I waited over the call wondering what the hell was going on Vihaan had asked to stay on hold and disappeared. It had now been 15 minutes and I was still on hold, finally I heard his voice.
"Hi.. Amelie..umm actually are you sure about what you're thinking, I'm not the perfect person for you.. You know my past you know it'll be very difficult for us.. I'll give in my best to this Baby.." he said
BABY!!!
A tear escaped my eye I closed my eyes in relief. He agreed!
I WAS IN A F*****G RELATIONSHIP!!!
I couldn't help myself, my heart had already started dancing at the sound of him calling me baby, but now it were my feet. Before I could realize I was doing my happy dance I was constantly tearing up. My emotions were out of control. And I ended up whispering
"I love you Vihaan."
He giggled at the sound of it. He knew I was out of control.
After my emotions got into control I thought of asking him where had he gone putting me on hold for fifteen minutes.
"I called up Mayur.. before all this could even happen before we could even get talking, in Anita's wedding he had advised me to ask you out. When I told him you asked me out he was like what are you waiting for say yes.. So yeah here I am.." he spoke
I couldn't believe for a minute or so that this man whom I had just asked out put me on hold for fifteen minutes and went to ask his friend for advise. For a moment I wanted to curse him because those fifteen minutes seemed like eternity of torture to me, but then patience got me the fruit. It was worth the wait.
Wait what about Mia!!
"Vihaan you and Mia whaa.." I was cut before I could finish by his laughs and I understood what had exactly happened there.
"What the hell did both of you play it with me Vihaan?" I growled
"Yeah.. you wouldn't budge until jealousy got to you.. and best friend worked just fine..on the spot." He laughed
I smiled on the other side of the phone thinking about him. I knew what I had exactly got myself into a relationship with someone who wasn't so easy to deal with as it looked. I don't want to end up like Rach changing boyfriends overtime, I wanted to have this as a life long relationship. But at this point in time even I wasn't sure how things would turn out.
Vihaan, a man with many faces, each one defined a different story people saw him differently but I saw his heart which would beat for a one woman. The path would be difficult I knew but I was willing to give in my best to keep this relationship till the end.. To be his woman for whom his heart beats.
