Mom was home at her usual time.

"Why aren't you'll having lunch here?" We shot glances at each other as to who could cook up the quickest lie.

"It's a treat aunty and what's the point if you don't rip off your friend's pocket!" Mia said winking at us.

This woman had done the job just perfect. I could see my mom had bought it!

Sheesh!! She's a bundle of surprises.. whenever she opens her mouth!

I collected my purse and kissed my mom bye and left the house calling 'thanks' back to her when she called out 'have fun'

Fun?!! The hell yeah!! it was going to be... 

"You owe us the treat by the way." and that was Mia's first sentence grabbing my arm as I closed the door.

"Woman I'm going to see whether my boyfriend is still willing to talk to his ex or not. And you want me to treat you today?"

I heard the other two laugh as the engine roared to a start.

"Lol! Your boyfriend not ours.. We are concerened with our treat.. you are our friend, you were pulled out today in to the world of hatred and ...." Mia was still talking when Mich cut in.

"Mia shut up she's on the driving seat I want to reach home safe and sound. I'll treat you extra if needed."

From the corner of my eye I saw a Mia grinning at that offer and it was an offer already taken.

We reached to Mich's place safe and sound with a lot of cribbing from Mich on my driving skills.

She just wouldn't get enough!

"I told you let me drive! You could have rammed into that man.." she shouted unlocking her main door.

"Seriously Mich it wasn't even close to ramming into him!! Stop over reacting like a mom!" said Joanna calming Mich down.

I hate back seat driving be it anyone. It's the worst thing you could to driver and Mich hates it too when her mom does it to her but yet again she just has to do it to me. But since she was the one who was going to play the role of my little game plan I couldn't say much to her.

"Look at Amelie, staying all quiet!! If it wasn't for her work from Mich she would have pounced on Mich like a lioness for her back seat driving by now!" giggled Mia

Joanna and I both threw our couch cushions at her to shut her up. She was totally in the mood today.

"Okay what's the plan now?" started off Mich relaxing on the bed

We had thrown ourselves on the bed by now and had our chips bowl in front of us with a large bottle of Coke.

Undoubtedly it was not was movie going on but it was just something we usually did, besides I needed it before I fainted out of any bad news.

"So first thing message him, 'Hi, how are you?' let's see what he replies then accordingly we proceed." I guided

"Damn this is so cheap!"

"I know Mich but we can't help it.. Quick now.."

Mich typed the message and sent the message away in a nano second. We started munching on the chips thinking that Vihaan wouldn't reply to an unknown number for hours or probably won't reply at all.
