Lip Locked Pt. 2

"Dad!?"

"Yeah, it's me. How are you?"

"Funny that you'd ask. You know these last few months have been great, spending time in the hospital and getting kidnapped by Valkrum, GETTING MY WINGS CUT OFF, THEN PUT BACK ON!"

"What!?"

"I don't want to talk to you right now."

"Wait! You're mother and I-" I hung up and muted my phone.

"(Y/N)! You coming downstairs!?" Laurance yelled.

"Y-Yeah!" I yelled. I shoved my phone in my pocket and ran downstairs. Laurance and Cadenza were sitting on the couch. "H-Hey."

"Something wrong?" Laurance said getting up.

"Y-Yeah."

"You sure? You're stuttering."

"I-I a-am?"

"Yeah, quite a bit," Cadenza stated.

"R-Really? W-Well I'm g-gonna go m-mak-ke s-some drink-ks."  I smiled. I walked into the kitchen and grabbed some glasses down from the cabinet. I set them down shakily, dropping one of the three glasses. I took a shaky breath, and leaned down to pick up the shards of glass. I threw them in the garbage and grabbed another glass. I leaned on the counter my face in my hands. I felt a hand on my shoulder. "Huh?" I looked up at Laurance.

"You okay?"

"My dad called."

"Wait really? What'd he say?"

"I don't know. I hung up."

"Are you gonna be okay?"

"Maybe... as long as he doesn't show up here," I smiled softly. He pulled me into a hug, and i smiled in him chest. I pulled away and kissed his cheek lightly. "You go back, start the show. I'll be out in a minute."

"You sure?"

"Mhm," I nodded. He walked out, still looking at me concerned. He sat next to Cadenza and I poured some apple juice(😍) then mixed in some sprite. I grabbed the glasses and set them on the coffee table and sat on the other side of Laurance. He put his arm around me and we watched The Walking Dead.

When Cadenza left to head home Laurance was asleep on the couch. I turned the television off, and dragged  Laurance upstairs(with magyks, because he's heavy). I laid him on the bed as best as I could. I walked to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. I took some pills and closed the medicine cabinet. I looked at myself in the mirror. I rubbed my eyes and walked to bed. Laurance was sitting up in bed rubbing his head. "Hey," I smiled crawling in next to him.

"Hi... where's Cadenza?"

"She went home after season three, and you fell asleep," I leaned on his chest, as he laid down. He wrapped his arms around my waist and I nuzzled his chest. I looked up at Laurance and he kissed me. I kissed back hard, and put my hands in his hair. He wrapped his arms in my shirt and pinned me down. I didn't want to pull away, and I didn't.

After a while we pulled away, needing to breath and all. He laid back down. "Night Babe."

"Night," I sighed.

"By the way, I'm never leaving," He whispered. I smiled.
