The next day, I came home from school with Angel again. He somehow appeared in all my lessons at school.
When I got into the orphanage, Angel went to the kitchen to get a biscuit.
"You want one?" he asked. I shook my head.
"Nah, I'll be alright. I'm just gonna dump my bag in my room," I bought my bag with me and I walked up the stairs.
As carried myself up the stairs, I bumped into Theo. Theo was 12 and had been in the orphanage for 2 years. He had blonde hair that had faded into a sandy grey colour and a round head. He was an immature little bastard that I just had to put up with.
"Hey ginger!" he said as I passed him . I ignored him, just carried on walking but I felt a tug on my school jumper.
"What?" I turned suddenly.
"I have heard something. A little gossip from the house," my heart beat increased rapidly. Angel didn't tell anyone about the transporting did he? No, he couldn't have. Of course he did! I looked like some kind of mad woman.
"What is it?" I said when I remembered that I was talking to Theo.
"I heard that you beat up a kid at school," I let out a sigh of relief. It was not about transporting. Angel had not said anything. Or maybe he did, I couldn't be sure.
I hated a lot of the kids at school and have often had the feeling of wanting to beat them up, but I somehow held back, I never had beaten someone up before.
"Oh, that's just a bloody rumour. It ain't true," I explained feeling relieved. At that point, I didn't really care if there was a rumour about me beating up some kids.
Theo snorted. "Whatever!" he dashed down the stairs passed me. he was just gonna tell some other cocky little brats.
I continued walking and dumped my bag on my bed when I got to my bedroom.
Then I remembered. That evening I had "Chit Chats Club".
"Chit Chats Club" was the thing that wasted 1 hour of my precious time every Tuesday. It was a club for "those who need some support" AKA the damn messed up kids.
The kids that have all been beaten up in the past because they had a crap life. Lots of people went through their long painful days smoking and drinking. The carers thought that having this club would help and stop kids from getting mixed with all that stuff.
What made me laugh, was how nobody turned up in the first month, so they forced people to go.
For some reason, I was on the list of messed up people. I had to go.
People think that I need support because my parents died. Yeah, I miss them, doesn't mean I have to go to this club. Well also, I was kind of failing school and some stupid bitches who thought they were better than everyone said mean stuff to me. What really badly makes me have to go is the fact I just disappear then reappear with no clothes. They thought that I was running away and trying to get away from people. I never told them about the transporting because if I did, I would absolutely have to go to Chit Chats.
I came downstairs and went into the kitchen to see Angel. He was standing by the biscuit tin taking a bite into a biscuit. I reached for one myself.
"Marilyn," Angel said when he swallowed his biscuit. "Please could you help me with the maths homework?"
"Sorry. I am crap at maths. Even if I was good, I wouldn't be helping much. I got stupid Chit Chats Club,"
"Oh you have to go to?"
