Inez froze, she can't do anything include closed the door and locked it. She just stood there with her mouth hanging open and her eyes wide open because of one reason, her mom. "Hey, my only one daughter" Inez's Mom said and give her a very fake sweet smile that she always received when her mom mad. "Hey, Mom" Inez said back and put on a straight face. "Hey Inez! Who's coming?" One of Inez's friend, Patricia said. "Uhm, my mom" Inez can see the terror in Patricia's eyes. Yes, Patricia is the best listener. Last night, when everyone fall asleep Inez cried so hard until she can't breath. Probably that makes Patricia awake then ended up listen to the whole story.
"Can you at least let me in?" Inez's mom said. "I have no rights, since it is Yohanna's house, but yes. You can come in and sit for a while" She said then opened the door wider to let her mom in. She walked in to the living room with her black heels and sit in the middle of the couch. "So, how are you, Inez?" She said as soon as Inez put her ass on the couch, in front of her. "Not so good, and you?" She said, just for being polite. "I'm good. It's great to finally meet you again" And put on the devilish smile of her.
"So, how's your life? And who's your boyfriend?" Her mom asked, Inez can see their friends behind her mom, in the kitchen and give Inez worried look. But she nodded her head, signaling everything's okay. Inez sigh loudly "My life is fine, and I have no boyfriend. Not yet." She said and Sean's face come to her brain as soon as she said 'boyfriend'. "Oh, I'm sure then the 'Inez' that Sam told me yesterday was another Inez then" She said then laugh a bit, Inez just can nodded her head.
While Inez and her mom talked and debate about took collage and youtube thing, somewhere in Ireland, a green hair guy named Sean worried as fuck. His ex just text him that she was abused by her new boyfriend. Sean confused, sad, angry, and disappointed at the same time. They just broke up not so long ago but Sally-his ex-already has a new boyfriend, he feel sad and angry because the thought of his ex being beaten or kicked or slapped by another guy. But he feel disappointed because of a different girl, Inez. His new friend from another side of the world just like gone. She didn't reply any of Sean's text or phone call or any text he sent to her in any social media. He thought Inez would stay in her hometown and forget about him.
"But mom, I'm happy now. I don't need anything. I can make money on my own, you always said when I was a child 'do whatever you want to do' and I did like what you said" Inez said, her eyes start fill with tears that ready to drop to her extremely beautiful face. "Yes I said that before, but you need to think about your future. You won't die tomorrow, you'll still live in like 20 years or even 50 years later. You need a job." Her mom said, with a red face that signaling she's so angry. "I have a job!" Inez yelled and finally tears come streaming down her face.
"I have a job! I have friends! I have my own happiness! Why won't you be happy for me at least once in my life! You always compared me with my friends since I was in high school, did you think how hurt my heart is? No! What you always think is that I should be like my friends, have a proper job, took collage, and work their ass off until the rest of their life!" She shout and it makes her out of breath "I don't want that" She whispered "I don't want to be like you. You always work and work and work. You don't have time for me. I want to be able to spend time with my kids, not just at weekend but also weekdays. I want to be able sing my kids to sleep, reading them bedtime story, and kiss their forehead before they sleep. I don't want to come home with my hair going wild and the bag under my eyes that getting darker each day, just to see my kids sleeping on their own." She said with a normal voice. Her mom just stay in silence.
"I really really don't want that" She whispered again and cry louder. Her mom refuse to hug her even she know her daughter need it but she still want to 'win' this fight. "Good speech" Inez's mom said, Inez open her eyes in shock, she didn't expected that. What she expect is her mom to understand her actual reason. "What?" Inez said "I said good speech, I almost crying. But that won't change anything. I still want you to go to the collage." Inez sigh. Her anger is in her maximum level but she still choose to hide and hold it. "Give me a year" She said. Her mom thinks about it, of course every university in Indonesia would start next year, in June. "I'll give you time until June to end your YouTube career, said goodbye to your fans--if you really have fans--and goodbye to your almost boyfriend" She said then leave. Leaving Inez in tears, crying as loud as she could when her mom walked out the door.
"It's okay. You can cry as loud as you want to" All of her friends there to give her strength. Inez nodded her head and wipe away the tears from her eyes. "Yeah. Everything's gonna be alright. I have about 10 months to prepare myself" I said and give them the best fake laugh ever.

"Where are you now?" Sean said while he walk so fast in the empty road. It's midnight and he's outside his house, walking as fast as he could, looking for someone. "I can see you. Keep walking forward" Sally said as quite as she can. She's running away, running away from her abusive boyfriend. She thought she can meet someone as perfect as Jack or probably more than perfect, but she thought wrong. Now she realized that she can't replace Jack. Jack hung up and pocket his phone when he see her hiding behind a big tree. Jack run toward her and hug her so tight. "Jack, I can't breath" She said and Jack pulled away from the hug. Actually, she can breath but Jack's hug hurt her so much. Not just physically but yet mentally.
The bruises on her body still new, it hurts so bad if someone pressed it or even touch it. The mentally pain is because she felt that she already dumped Jack, and she didn't deserve any of Jack's help. "Let's go home" Jack said and put his arm around Sally's shoulder "But I don't have a place to stay, Jack. I'm homeless. I even don't bring any cloth" She said, still with tears on her face. "Are you fucking kidding me? I mean, let's go to our home. Our old home." He said and give her a big sweet smile. "But--" "No buts or maybes. You'll safe there. I'll protect you" Jack said, look deeply in her eyes "No, Jack. It's not like that. I feel like--" Jack cut her off by pressing his lips to her. "How I missed those lips." He said and grabbed her hand then walked as fast as they could.
The bruises, the cuts, any scars that on her body make Jack sad and angry again. "How many times he hit you?" Jack said and clean off the fresh cuts. Sally still in silence, can't even remember how many time she get hit by her now ex boyfriend. "How many time he hit you and I didn't there for you?" Jack said, tears fill his eyes. "I'm sorry" He said and hug her and make sure, this time not too tight. "No, Jack" She said with her soft and sweet voice. "I'm so sorry to start a fight every single time. I'm sorry I don't have time for you. I'm sorry I can't make you happy" He said again. She pulled him away, shook her head violently "It's not your fault, Jack. I'm sorry" She said. With no words, they can conclude by themselves that they're getting back together.

Inez packed her stuff that morning and booked a flight back to Ireland. She have plans, she'll spend time with Sean more, make YouTube videos more, and probably confess her feeling about Sean. She now finally realized, she likes Sean.
She likes him so much, but how bad is it that Sean now have love of his life back and Inez didn't even know a single clue about it.

5 AM, Inez woke up and prepare herself for flight back to Ireland, she texted Sam
Inez : "I'll wait at airport's starbucks"
6AM, Inez drag her suitcase out of her taxi and paid for it. She checked her phone and realised she haven't reply to Sean's text.
Inez : "Hey, I'm on my way to Ireland. Hope you're okay."
She press the sent button then order a cup of greentea to make her okay. At least I have 10 months to prepare myself, she said inside her head, not knowing any worse thing that could happen in 10 months from now.
After 20 minutes waiting, Sam finally arrived with her brother "Bye, be safe there. You too, Inez" He said, then they walk away from Sam's brother.
