Chapter 19: I love yous and that

"Where are you taking me again?" I asked curiously.

After dressing up, He immediately went to my house to fetch me. Nagpaalam pa nga siya kila Mommy at Kuya para dalhin ako sa date.

"Okay, Nadine, I know this is typical for Filipino Courtship or dating- Whatever. But... I'm taking you to Tagaytay." He answered embarrassingly.

"You named it Filipino Courtship and Dating?" Natatawa kong sabi.

"Well, Yes..." He laughed.

"Anyways, Tagaytay is sooo common for dates! I hope you're bringing me to something new. It's been two years since I've visit to Tagaytay." I explained. I really hope! Gusto ko sobrang worth-remembering yung date namin.

"I'm kind of sure of that." He smiled and answered.

"Paano mo nalaman papunta sa Tagaytay though?" Tanong ko.

"Oh, that... It was all planned out. Remember the day I arrived? All I did was search places all day long, and then at night, I gave a shot... I went to Tagaytay, thanks to waze! I did reservations and you know, I was prepared!" He said excitingly.

"Do you want any food?" Tanong niya sa akin bigla.

"No, I'm fine! Naeexcite lang talaga ako sa surprises mo. I can't imagine you doing it all by yourself." Natatawa kong sabi.

"That's James Reid for you." He said proudly.

"Ewan ko sa'yo! Can we get back to your story." I said.

"So yeah di ako nagpahinga nun-"

I interrupted him. "Which I said you should rest."

"Oh come on, Nadine... The moment you'll find out about the surprise... Surprises rather, you'll fall deeply in love with me." He said again proudly

"James Reid ha! Yabang!" Natatawa kong sabi.

"Oh come on! You have me, my smile, you can have all of me! As long as I can have all of you." He said.

"Okay, that was too cheesy!" I pointed out.

Natawa siya. Mabilis kaming nakarating ng Tagaytay. It was really cold! He held my hand and I felt comfy.

"Here we are." He pointed out the restaurant. Ang ganda ng labas! I'll be expecting alot from the restaurant.

"Bakit walang tao?"

"Mr. James Reid?" Tanong ng isang babae sa harap namin.

He only nodded, looked back at me and he smiled.

Oh my god! Pinaghandaan nga niya to' Konti lang ang tables. May mga balloons at iba't ibang petals sa sahig. What the hell! Ang ganda!

He held my hand and led the way, going outside. There was a nice view. Overlooking Taal.

"Ang ganda ganda dito!" I said and hugged him.

This is worth-remembering.

"I told you. The moment you laid your eyes on me and my surprises- You'll fall in love with me deeply." He laughed and kissed my forehead.

"Ugh, James! Di ko talaga naisip na mangyayari to'. This is so-" I exclaimed

"So not me, I know." He shrugged and smiled.

"James! I was gonna say This is so better than I expected." I explained.

"Of course." He said proudly and smiled at me.
