Chapter 54: Choice

Ngayon ang araw ng alis nila Adam. I helped him pack for his 2 week trip to San Francisco two nights ago. We also talked about the argument about James. Since that night when they fought, muntikan na silang magsuntukan. Pinauwi nalang muna kami ni Tita Marie dahil kakausapin niya si James. Since ngayon ang alis nila, Adam has become extra clingy even when he should be at the airport by now.

"Ayan na yung taxi oh!" I said.

"Bakit ba kasi nag taxi pa tayo?" He sighed and brought his bags.

"I don't like driving alone." I excused.

We went inside the cab and he was so clingy going to the airport. Tita said they would meet in the entrance already so he was dropped of just right in front.

"I'll miss you so much." He said hugging me so tight.

"Ako rin." I said smiling.

"Adam! Nadine!" We heard Tita called.

"Hello po." I politely said.

"Hi, hija! Hindi talaga makaalis ang anak ko sa'yo." She said laughing.

Namula ako. "Yes, tita! Ayaw niya umalis." I said and laughed too.

"But sad to say, we better get going Adam. May hinahabol tayo na flight." She said truthfully.

He kissed me and hugged me again so tight.

"Whatever happens, I assure you, I won't let him have me." I said smiling and I had to let him go.

Umalis na siya pero panay ang lingon sa akin.
I waved goodbye and blew a kiss until he went inside, I left already and waited for a cab but then a familiar car stopped by in front of me.

The window went down and it was James. "Hop in." He commanded.

"No!" I answered crossing my arms.

He went down his car. He was wearing a suit so he's probably off to work. He snatched me and carried me like a kid.

"Hey! Ibaba mo nga ako!" I said but he placed me inside of his car in the passenger seat.

"You're coming with me." He whispered and placed my seatbelt.

Mabilis siyang pumunta sa driver's side at nagmaneho.

"Saan mo ko dadalhin?!" Sigaw ko sa kanya.

"Basta." He said.

"Ano ba! Sabihin mo sa akin." I said and I kept slapping his arm.

He was still driving while I was whining the whole time. Pero nakatulog rin ako dahil sa puyat. I just woke up when the car stopped in front of a huge house. He went out and opened my door. Bubuhatin na sana niya ako nang lumayo ako.

"Wag na." I said irritatingly.

"Bakit tayo nandito?" I asked.

"Welcome to my home." He said looking at me and smiled then he continued walking. We went to his living room which is really spacious and good looking.
