A Difficult Night

Kaylee's POV

I didn't want to have 'guards' watching me or I should say Mickey and Sunny boy watching me. No one wanted me to hurt Sidney and no one wants Sidney to kill me. I looked over at Camille, she fell asleep. But she started to shake badly in her sleep, why? She was here alone the whole time with Johnny, maybe he knows what's up with her. Wait, she would never tell him or the guys what is wrong with her.

"What's happening to Camille?" I asked. Sidney got up and walked over to Camille. She put her hand on her forehead and then did some others things to see of she's okay.

"She has Hypothermia and has a fever" Sidney said. I looked over and saw a worried Johnny. Does someone have a crush? Or is he just worried like any one of us would. I wouldn't flip if one of the boys git hurt. I would flip if one of the girls got hurt. But I didn't really know what was happening, so I couldn't react to this one.

"Let's bring her to the hospital, maybe she it has something to do with her getting jumped the other day" Darry said. So Dallas picked her up and brought her outside to the truck. Darry said who could go and who had to stay. He said Sidney, Beca, Alexia, Soda, Sunny boy, Dallas and him would go. Two-bit had to 'watch' over us. Johnny, Ponyboy, Me, Two-bit, Beth and Kenzie had to stay here. I was the only one I guess really knew what to do if something did happen.

I sat on the floor on my own. Two-bit, Johnny and Ponyboy took one couch. Beth took over the one couch for herself and she was sleeping too. Kenzie fell from the very top of the tree at the lot. She's asleep in Pony and Soda's room. I played with my blade and looked at it better. I saw my name obviously and some little design on it too. Had the infinity sign too. That was our like logo I guess you can say. Means we'll always stay together and no one can hurt us, separate us or anything. We're one thing, friends. We may get into fights and all that. But we always make up and become happy again no matter what happens.

I started to watch the horror movies that was still on. I can handle them, it just depends how scary it is for me. I watched the movie intensely and then the scary part came I want to be able to watch it and make it through the movie.

A man came out from hiding, he turned the lights on and off. Making the girl in the movie scream in fear. He left off somewhere and it is now the POV of the little girl, more like my age. She walked into her bedroom and sat in her bed. She turned the light off and I wanted to close my eyes so badly, but I couldn't blink. I was too focused on the movie.

Bam! The guy from earlier popped out of the closet and scared the living hell outta me. I screamed so loud and jumped. I woke up Beth by accident. I started to cuss at the tv for scaring me that bad and then Beth started cussing at me for waking her up.

"Calm down, it's a movie and stop cussing at each other" Two-bit said. I gave him a death glare and went to the kitchen. I grabbed two beers, one for me and one for Beth. I went back into the living room and plopped down on the couch beside her. I gave her hers and I opened my beer and took a couple sips and then Two-bit noticed we were drinking.

"Hey, don't drink that" He said. He went to grab our drinks and we moved our hands away so he couldn't get them.

"We drink all the time Two-butt" Beth said.

"Does the older girls know?" Ponyboy asked getting up.

"Nope and you're gonna keep your mouth shut. If ya don't you're all dead" I said and pulled out my blade.

"But you ca-" Two-bit went to say but Beth cut him off.

"Shut it will ya?" She said and he sat back down and kept an eye on us. I chugged my beer down got two more for us. I gave her one and I kept the other one for myself. I opened it up and chugged that one down. Two-bit put a lock on the fridge door so we couldn't get anymore. I took my phone out and started taking selfies with Beth. Then we took some of the guys and sent it to Alexia and Rebecca's phone.

I fell a little sleepy after that and crashed on the floor and Beth did too. I don't know what the boys were doing, but they were quiet the whole time.

Sidney's POV

We got to the hospital and they took Camille away from us. Well Dallas's arms, he was actually nice for once and didn't make a snarky comment about any of us girls, yet. I sat down on the chair and waited for some news about Camille. Soda sat with Steve by the doors, Alexia and Rebecca played on their phones while they waited, Darry went up to the counter to tell when we can see her. Camille has no family, she's all alone. They didn't put her in a girls' home. Her parents are in jail for abusing her way too much and um... I shouldn't say anymore without her wanting me to tell someone.

I heard Alexia and Rebecca laughing behind us. I turned and saw that they were laughing at stuff on their phones. I just let them be and sat in my chair, some reason Dallas sat beside me. I didn't talk much to him or anyone. I am worried about Camille, she fell asleep just fine and then all this happened. But I saw her wrapped up in the blanket all day today and she didn't write anything to us.

The nurse came back and told us to follow her, we all followed her and she led us to a room down the hall. In the room laid Camille in the bed, monitors, machines and breathing mask hooked up to her. The room was hot, they needed to get her body temperature up. She laid there lifeless on the bed. I sat down on the ground and leaned against the back wall. The twins sat in the chairs with the guys next to them.

"She has a broken ankle and looks like it's been broken for awhile" The nurse said and then just left.

"That's why she didn't want to go for a walk with us" Beca shouted from behind us. I looked at her bed and saw her hand move a little. We've been here for a long time now, about three hours long. I was starting to get reckless and sleepy. I didn't want to cooperate with the others, I didn't get when I was told to or I didn't talk when they asked me a question.

I started to fall asleep but then a hand touched me and someone kneeled down beside me. I noticed Dallas, he smiled at me and I was kind enough to send one back. I hate being reckless and dead tired, makes me act different and or NICE.

"We should head back" He said and I nodded. I got up and followed them out of the door. I made it to the front doors and then walked into a wall. Yeah I was tired, I couldn't walk straight no more. I fell to the ground rubbing my head. I kicked the wall and then got up. I walked outside and left to the sidewalk, but a hand grabbed my wrist and pulled me their way. Oh yeah, we came here in a truck. I got in the bed of the truck with Dallas, Soda and Alexia. Steve and Beca went in the cab with Darry. I started to fall back asleep again and I leaned up against the back wall where the window was. I crashed there and heard the guys saying things about us girls. How we can be nice and were not all mean and cold.

"Coming Sleepy Blondie?" Soda asked. I nodded and watched him go inside. I fell back asleep and then felt arms pick me up and carry me inside. I opened my eyes and it was Dallas again. We got inside and he brought me to the back room where Kenzie was. He left the room and I had to say something nice.

"Thanks Dallas... for everything" I said and he turned to me for sec.

"Anytime Blondie" He said and left the room shutting the door behind him. I fell asleep in the warm cozy bed. I kinda feel like a burden staying here. I can get a house, we have the money. We stole a lot from the future and the houses here don't cost as much as they do in the future. The guys don't know we're from the future and I kinda plan to keep it that way.
