I stood at the entrance to the human world. I wonder what exactly I had gotten myself into, there is no return from this once I go through if only I never attacked Ana. I wouldn't be runnng right now. I would be safe in my own bed with no target on my back. I wouldn't need to worry about anyone finding out who I truly was, a bloodthirsty vampire hiding as a demon in a house full of demons.
I finally managed to get the guts to do it. I stepped through the portal meeting Abigail on the other side. I had asked her to hide my vampire nature so I could live like a mortal. "Josh are you sure that this is really what you want?"
"Yes I'm sure. This is safest for me and everyone else, I don't want anyone to worry."
"Josh you can't be serious. How are you going to explain to everyone if they see you."
"You can mask my true face but please tell everyone that I passed on."
