Marika's POV 〔Yey! her first POV!〕

I lazily opened my eyes and focused my vision. The alarm clock was ringing in an insanely loud tone. I tried reaching for it, but I can't. Jeff's arms were wrapped around me. I glanced at him and saw that he's still sleeping peacefully, totally void of the ringing noise.

"Jeff . . ?" I squirmed around from his embrace, "Jeff, wake up." I said a bit louder than before.

"No . . ." He muttered in his sleep. I sighed and took in a lot of air, "Jeff, wake up!" I yelled loudly beside him. He was so shocked, he let go of me and immediately sat up, "Good morning." I laughed at his reaction.

"What?" He looked around, wide-eyed.

I reached for the alarm clock and looked for the switch or button to turn it off, but I can't. This clock is different from momma's clock.

"How do you turn this off?" I asked.

"Like this." He replied as he took the clock from me and showed my a tiny off switch at the back of it. As he turned it off, the annoying ringing noise died down.

"Who's gonna take a shower first?" He asked with a yawn.

"Me!" I replied with a grin.

"No!"

"Rock, paper, scissors?" I asked and readied my hand. He nodded with a sly grin and played with me.

I chose paper while he chose . . .

Rock!

I win, "Yes! Me first!" I said as I grabbed my clothes and headed for the bathroom, I looked back to see Jeff sticking a tongue out at me.

I laughed, he looks cute that way. I hurriedly took a warm shower and dried myself. I then proceed on putting my clothes on, which was a pair of black shorts and a red shirt and at last, my favorite short-sleeved gray hoodie.

I brushed my short black hair and went back to Jeff's room. I saw him sleeping again, I grinned and walked over beside his bed.

"Jeff?" I spoke, "Jeff . . ." I poked his cheek though he didn't even move. I touched his hair which was soft and made fun of it. Jeff grumbled and his eyes fluttered open. He suddenly yelled and he fell on the other side of the bed, "Are you okay?" I asked worriedly as I walked on the other side where he fell.

"I thought you're a ghost . . . again." He said as he rubbed the back of his head.

"It's your turn to use the bathroom." I said with a giggle at his flushed face.

"Alright." He replied as he took his clothes with him in the bathroom.

Now what to do . . ?

I wandered aimlessly around his room, I didn't notice that there was a small drawer on the corner of his room, I checked it curiously and found a bunch of book and drawings.

I grinned mischievously as I go through all his drawings.

Pfft. His drawings seems a bit weird, I also found a drawing of the famous Slenderman.
It's interesting, it's mysterious. Slenderman was said to kill people in the woods and gives headache with his static thingy and he has tendrils or tentacles coming out of his back.

I looked over his books. It was mysteries, horrors, fictions and a bunch of comic books.

I started reading a horror book and sat on my unused bed. After a while, Jeff came all dressed up and ready for school.
