NOTE FROM THE FUTURE: THE FIRST 16 CHAPTERS OF THIS STORY WON'T MAKE SENSE BECAUSE THEY WERE TOO YOUNG FOR THE THINGS THAT HAPPENED AND IT MAKES THE PLOT LOOK IDIOTIC. BUT I CAN PROMISE YOU THIS; IT GETS A WHOLE LOT BETTER WHEN YOU REACH CHAPTER 17 BECAUSE REASONS XD

Jeff's POV

I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock. Ugh, again, I'm not a morning person. I turned my alarm clock off in annoyance.

I moved around and stretched my arms, then I thought . . . Something's missing.

Oh, Marika isn't here. Where exactly is she?

I yawned as I stood up lazily, I almost lost my balance but managed as I walked out the door.
I went to the bathroom and knocked.

"What?!" Liu yelled.

"Nevermind." I thought Marika was in there.

I went downstairs and saw mom and dad in the living room, watching the morning news.

"Dad, where's Marika?" I asked sleepily.

"Huh? I haven't seen her yet." He replied as he drank his coffee.

Now this is getting weird. Where is she?

I looked at the kitchen, dining room and even outside. No sign of her.

Then I remembered the attic.

I ran up the attic and saw Marika, she was leaning on the wall and reading one of my books. Stupid girl, she had me worried!

"Why are you here so early!?" I asked as I panted, running up the stairs is very tiring.

"Uhh . . . Reading?" She replied with a confused look on her face.

"This early!?"

"I can't wait to go to school so I woke up early and got ready." She replied, completely focused on the book.

"What are you even reading?" I sighed.

"Slenderman." She replied.

"Oh, whatever." I rolled my eyes, "I'll get ready for school." I added as I went downstairs. She's been addicted to Slenderman ever since she first read about it.

I took my clothes from my room and take a look at the shower upstairs. Liu's gone, so I used it. I took a warm shower and dried myself off and wrapped the towel on my waist. I opened the curtains of the shower.

"What the hell are you doing here!?" I shouted.

As I opened the curtains, Marika was sitting on the lid of the closed toilet and is still reading that stupid book.

"Uhh . . . Reading?" She said the same stupid reply again.

"How'd you even get in!?" I blushed.

"The door was unlocked." She replied smugly as she keeps on reading.

"That doesn't mean you can enter without permission! Why are you even reading here?!"

She literally becomes brain dead everytime she's focused on a particular things

"I don't want to be separated from you." She replied, not even bothering to look up from the book she's reading. Her voice got more quiet as she said so.

Her words made me blush a darker shade of red and made my heart beat faster. Ugh, seriously? Why is my sister so straightforward?

"Get out, I'm going to get dressed up!" I tried to sound angry to hide my embarrassment only to fail miserably.
