NOTE FROM THE FUTURE: THE FIRST 16 CHAPTERS OF THIS STORY WON'T MAKE SENSE BECAUSE THEY WERE TOO YOUNG FOR THE THINGS THAT HAPPENED AND IT MAKES THE PLOT LOOK IDIOTIC. BUT I CAN PROMISE YOU THIS; IT GETS A WHOLE LOT BETTER WHEN YOU REACH CHAPTER 17 BECAUSE REASONS XD
【Jeff's POV】
"Wake up . . ." I heard someone say as they shook me.
"Ugh . . . What?" I replied, not bothering to open my eyes.
"Wake up, we're going to visit your new school." The voice got a little louder.
I slowly opened my eyes. It was mom, she's already dressed up. I glanced beside me and saw Marika fast asleep.
"Okay . . ." I mumbled with a sigh.
"Great, hurry and get ready." Mom smiled and walked out.
I groaned, I was never a morning person.
"Hey, wake up." I poke Marika's cheek as I let go of her. Though I quickly wanted to hug her again.
Wait, what?
I shrugged the thought away as I keep on poking her.
She slapped my hand away and continued to sleep. I sighed, I put my hands around my mouth and,
"WAKE UP!" I shouted at the top of my lungs.
She shot up with wide eyes and looked around her. She stopped at me and glared.
"What? I'm sleepy!" She said as she rubbed her eyes with a pout.
"Mom's waiting for us, we're going to our new school today." I yawned.
"Really!?" She yelled excitedly as she stood up and grabbed her clothes from her bags.
"I'm going to use the bathroom upstairs, you use the one downstairs." She said as she quickly shut the door behind her.
How hyper . . . Not that I dislike it, she can always cheer me up with that attitude of her's, I enjoy spending time with her, I just don't understand why. I grabbed my stuff and went downstairs, Dad was reading the newspaper in the dining room.
"Is Liu up?" I asked him.
"Yeah, in his room." He replied as he glanced at me.
I quickly took a shower and got dressed up my usual attire. I got out and saw that the furniture were already there except that it isn't properly placed yet. I heard footsteps and saw Liu and Marika coming down. I glanced at mom who is preparing breakfast. Finally, I'm so hungry.
We took our time and ate, either standing up or sitting on the floor, the table isn't here yet.
We finished up and headed outside since there was nothing to do inside. I saw the neighbors who are out in their yard, a bunch of kids that looks like the same age as us were running towards us.
I sighed, this is just great.
Not.
I'm not good at socializing with people at all, neither Marika. Liu, on the other hand, can make a friend in ten minutes.
"Hi!" A blonde girl smiled as she greeted us three.
"Hi, I'm Kevin!" A brown-haired boy grinned.
"I'm Liu." Liu smiled.
"Jeff." I muttered with a bored look on my face.
Marika didn't say a thing as usual, she just stared back at them. She's not really the type to talk to someone she just met.
