Chapter 7. New Town

NOTE FROM THE FUTURE: THE FIRST 16 CHAPTERS OF THIS STORY WON'T MAKE SENSE BECAUSE THEY WERE TOO YOUNG FOR THE THINGS THAT HAPPENED AND IT MAKES THE PLOT LOOK IDIOTIC. BUT I CAN PROMISE YOU THIS; IT GETS A WHOLE LOT BETTER WHEN YOU REACH CHAPTER 17 BECAUSE REASONS XD

【Marika's POV】

We are currently driving in a long straight road, surrounded by sand without any sign of human structures. I've been stopping myself from screaming for hours now . . .

I glanced at both my sides, Liu and Jeff were leaning at me fast asleep and I'm just sitting here, getting squished. Urgh . . . How do I get them off!? I tried pushing them away but they keep falling back on me!

Just then . . . An Idea popped up.

I grabbed my phone and earphones on my pockets in a difficult manner since I can barely move and plugged the earphones on my phone.

I placed one earphone each on them and picked the loudest rock song, which was 'Perfect Weapon' by Black Veil Brides, the intro of the song was a guy that was shouting. I maxed the volumed and pressed the play button.

"Holy shit!" Liu yelled.

"Oh my god!" Jeff shouted.

As they both screamed, they immediately sat up and looked around in panic. I feel like my eardrums are gonna bleed. They shouted right in my ears!

"What the hell!?"

"What is it!?" Dad and mom both got shocked at their yelling. Pfft.

Liu and Jeff were breathing heavily with wide-eyes. I snickered at them which made them both glare at me.

"Why'd you do that!?" Jeff yelled.

"Not cool!" Liu also shouted.

"Well, you both were leaning at me like I'm some kind of pillow and even if i pushed you both away, you keep falling back!" I defended myself.

"You could have shook us awake!" Jeff rolled his eyes at me.

"Whatever, it's my turn to sleep peacefully." I said as I put my head on Jeff's lap and placed my feet on Liu's.

Well, they don't mind so it must be fine to sleep like this. I'm used to hanging out with boys rather than girls because of these two.

"Wake me up when we're almost there." I said with a yawn.

"A few more hours, hun." Mom answered.

"Kay." I replied as I sleep peacefully, I never realized how tired i was.

A sudden, loud noise played around me as I was sleeping.I screamed a high-pitched note as I sat up and hit my head on the car ceiling.

What the hell is that!?

I looked around and saw everyone even mom and dad laughing at me.

"W-What!?" I shouted and rubbed the sore spot on my head. Then I realize 0:00am by ACID was playing, I removed the earphones off my ears and glared at Jeff and Liu.

"Paybaaaaaack!" They both yelled at me.

"Shut up." I replied as I pouted. They continued laughing at me but I just keep dozing off every now and then, I'm so sleepy. I yawned, I looked out the window and saw houses and a few people and restaurants and such, "Where are we?" I asked.

"A few more minutes and we're there." Dad replied excitedly.

"Yes! hurry up, speed this car up!" I grinned as I shook dad's chair.
