I didn't see Danny over the next few weeks but we were having everyone round for a meal tonight I just hoped things wouldn't be awkward between us I was busy cooking when glen went to answer the door Leo started crying glen had got him in the lounge "I'll get him" he shouted "ok" I shouted back I heard someone coming into the kitchen I turned round it was Danny "hey" he said "hi you ok" I asked him "yeh fine you" "yeh I'm good" "I bought some wine" "thanks" I said taking it off him "you look good" I heard him say "thanks" I muttered I could feel him watching me "do you want a drink" I asked him "yeh I'll have wine please" I went to get a glass out the cupboard I had to stretch for it when I felt him behind me reaching for it he got it down but was still stood behind me I turned round to move away from him but he caught my arm keeping me where I was I daren't look at him I felt his hand under my chin and he lifted it up I met his gaze before I knew what was happening he leaned in and kissed me before I knew what was happening I returned the kiss for a few seconds before pushing him away I looked at him shocked by what he had just done and shocked that for a few seconds I'd kissed him back glen came walking into the kitchen with Leo "someone's grumpy" he said "what not my little mate Leo" Danny said pinching Leo off glen "come on mate lets talk about it" he said walking back into the lounge with Leo and glen leaving me stood there completely floored by what had happened
