You sit on your bed, waiting for what seemed like hours. But in reality, only 6 minutes had passed before you recieved a text. Your phone vibrates and you look at the screen:

*1 new message* you held your breath as you opened it.

From Liam: ...what?

You: idk. can you just come over? i really need to talk to you.

Liam: i dont think thats a very good idea brooke..

You: are you mad?

Liam: im not mad. im a bit frustrated, but no, not mad.

You: well i figured you would have hated me by now. can you please come over so we can talk and straighen all this out?

Liam: ...fine. ill be there in 15 min.

You knew that he couldn't resist you. He was basically wrapped around your little finger.

The main reason you wanted Liam to come over was just to figure out what was actually going on between you two. You wouldn't doubt if he hated you by now, but you were willing to change for him. From this moment on, you were promising yourself to be a better person and control yourself around Liam, instead of throwing a crying fit right in front of him like you had done just hours ago. You wanted to make this work.

You walk to the bathroom and throw your hair up into a quick ponytail, and put on some black yoga pants and a hoodie. You honestly didn't care what you looked like in front of him. He's seen you in worse conditons before.

He'll be here anytime now, and you were mentally going over what you were going to say to him in your head.

"I didn't mean that I actually loved you when I sent that message. I don't know what I was thinking.."

No, that wouldn't work, because you actually had feelings for him, and to be honest, you were pretty sure that there was a possibility that you did love him. Crazy, right? Doubt he felt the same way though. I mean, yeah, he's told you that he's loved you before, but did he really mean it?

Just then, there's a knock on the door. "Coming!" you yell as you walk down the stairs. When you open the door, you were expecting Liam, but it wasn't Liam who was standing there. It was the last person you thought you would see.

"Kate?" you say, shock clear in your voice.

"Yeah, uh, hi."

"What are you doing here?"

She runs her hand through her hair nervously, "I thought you might need a friend."

"Why?" You furrow your eyebrows in confusion. Why would she just randomly show up here and say that?

"Have you not gotten on Facebook lately?" she asks.

You started to become worried, "no.. why?"

She enters your house and sits on the couch, "j..just look."

She pulls out her phone and logs onto Facebook. What was she talking about? What did she mean by "have you not gotten on facebook lately?" Your stomach churned with worry. What could it be?

She taps on a picture and shows it to you. You gasp in shock as soon as you see it.

"Who posted that?!" You ask, anger and hurt clear in your voice.

A few moments of silence pass before she finally answers, "..Jacob. I'm really sorry Brooke. He's just a douche. You don't need him, you're way too good for him."
