Liam grabs your waist and walks you to his car.

"don't touch me" you growl at him. He gives you a little smirk and opens the door for you to get in.

Liam walks around to the drivers side and hops in. "where are we going?" you ask.

"you'll see" he says and grabs your thigh.

"I told you not to touch me"  you say angrily.

"I dont follow rules babe" he gives you a little wink and pulls out of your driveway.

*2 hours later*

"Liam, we've been driving for 2 hours. Where are we going?"

"sheesh, you're so impatient," he says while turning on the radio.

"well can you at least tell me how much longer it will be? I told my mom I wouldn't come home late again,'

"just sit back and relax. It won't be too much longer." he replys.

You sit back and look out the window. The sun was nearly down, and it was almost dark. You didn't like the fact that you were driving around at night with practically a stranger. You decide to start some small talk to get to know him better.

"uh.. so do you play any sports?" you already knew the anser was no, because he was definitely not a sports-type person. But you asked him anyway.

"what do you think? Brooke, do I seriously look like I play sports?" he says while moving his hand up and down his body showing you his outfit. He was wearing a black shirt(which was pretty tight on him, showing off his abs. psh, not like I cared though) black skinny jeans, and black converse. His hair was short, made up into a small quiff in the front.

"I was just asking.." you say while staring out the window.

"well," he says, "what about you? Do you play any sports?"

"not really... well, I used to anyway"

"what diid you use to play?"

"um.. volleyball" you say, all the memories came flooding in.

* Flashback to 3 years ago*

It was your turn to serve the ball. This serve determined whether or not your team won the game. It was all up to you. You bounce the ball a few times, getting ready for the serve. You take a deep breath, throw the ball into the air, hitting it over-hand, and completely miss as it hits the net. The whole team turns back to you, full of anger. One of them walks up to you and starts screaming in your face and cursing, saying how it was all your fault the team had lost.

The coach had even gave you a shameful look. You felt like everybody in the world hated you, because of one little missed serve. You felt the tears start gushing out of your eyes as you ran out of the building and into a bathroom. You went into a stall and cried for hours.

*End of flashback*

You stare out the window, tears brimming your eyes. Liam puts his hand on your shoulder, "babe, are you okay?"

You wipe the tears away, "yeah, I'm fine" you say.

"I'm sorry if I upset you. Do you want to talk about it?"

"not really. I just want to go home." you say while sniffling.

"I have something special planned. I promise it'll be great" he says while smirking.

"whatever Payne," you say with a small chuckle.

When you finally arrive to where Liam was taking you, you realize that it was the beach. It looked so beautiful under the moonlight. But wait, Liam has a romantic side? WHAT?

"what's all this?" you ask curiously.

"haven't you ever heard of a moonlight picnic?" he says with a small grin.

You smile really big at him, falling for his cute grin.

Wait, NO BROOKE. You don't like him. Don't fall for him, you'll just get hurt.

Liam walks to the back of the car, opens the trunk, and pulls out a blanket and a picnic basket.

"wow Payne, I'm impressed" you say trying to hide your smile.

"really?" he says, lifting an eyebrow

"yeah.. I am"

He moves closer to you. "does this make you want me?"

Yes. "psh, in your dreams"

He moves closer until his body is right up against yours, then he kisses you. "how about now?" he says with a smirk.

NO BROOKE. STOP. DON'T FALL FOR HIM. YOU HATE HIM.

"um.. lets go eat" you say nervously and walk away. He follows close behind. Once you get to a good spot in the sand, he flings the blanket out, laying it on the ground.

You guys sat and ate the meal, which included sandwiches. Yep. That was it. But at least the poor guy was trying.

After you finish your sandwiches, Liam asks "hey, we should go swimming"

"But I don't have a swimsuit" you say

"who says you have to wear anything?" he says winking.

"oh shutup" you say smiling and looking away.

You felt like you were in one of the dumb romace movies where the girl ends up falling for that stupid guy who she has nothing in common with.

"we should probably be going," you say "my mom is already going to kill me for coming home late again"

"oh, don't worry about that. I'll cover for you," he grins and gives you a little wink, "lets go."

He helps you up and grabs the blanket and picnic basket, and you both walk back to his car.

"this wasn't such a bad night after all" you think to yourself ginning.
