"Coda!" Emma yelled as she woke up in a cold sweat. She had been in a haze until she remembered that she had ran away into the forest. But, now was in a new place that made her disoriented. She found her self in one of the tents back on the camp ground. It was not the one she had slept in the night before. She started to wander out of the blue tent but, flinched at the sunlight. 'Sweet are you ok?' Emma's deer asked. She hadn't talk ever since Emma hit her head. Most of Emma's memories had returned but some where hazy. Emma had wondered often why her deer left her this past week. 'Sweetie don't you remember? You where upset with me for pledging for you to stop and look at our mate. But, you where blind by that "Alpha" of yours'.

"Are you ok?" Zane and Zack asked as the put there arm under Emma's to keep her from falling. She was dizzy from getting up too fast. As they help her somethings swept passed her butt and made her deer go wild. 'Hey! Don't let them touch you!' Emma's deer screamed. But, she accepted their help anyways.

'Your trying to piss me off! Right! You have to be joking! You just meet your mate and you are all really cheating on him.' They were just helping and must of slipped or something.Emma didn't think their touch was cheating on Coda. However, it did make her feel unconformable. So when she thought she was good to stand, she let go. However felt dizzy again and took their hands.

'Let! Go! Now!' She yelled so loud Emma let go of the boy's hands. Coda had turned from talking to his father and saw her in pain. "Emma?" He said as her rushed over.

Emma was on the ground holding her ears. She was holding back tears. Her head was ringing from the force of her deer. Coda now had a grip on what was going on. He put his hand on Emma's back. "Are you ok?" He asked concern. Emma looked up in his lovely eyes. "Yes." She said bringing her hands away from her ears. "Are you sure?" Emma got up and looked at him. "Yes." She hugged him. "I'm sorry." He put his hand on her back. "For what?" She looked away. The guilt of her keeping a secret resurfaced when her deer reappeared. Emma couldn't bear lying to her mate. She knows why she needed her to lye thought. She wanted him to be happy and not burden with her problems of the past.

(This part is following an unknown person)

He wiped his arm a crossed his desk in rage. Knocking everything of with a loud crash. Papers flew everywhere. "Where is she!" His voice loud and infuriated. His body tense and the stress was getting to him.

"We don't know sir." a tracker said in a weak voice that cracked at the end. He shifted to foot to foot with is hands behind his back. His head slightly bowed out of respect. "We lost her trail about three hours out of the territory heading west."

The man huffed and stood up straight. Trying to compose him self and control his wave of emotions. "Just get out of my sight." He growled and lost control as he threw a lamp at the shivering guard. The man rushed out of the office.

"You need to stop doing that." A womanly voice chimed in. He just sat down in his chair and rubbed his hands down his face.

The woman's heel click softly as she approached the desk. Slowly she bent down and stared to pick up the papers. "Don't." He grumbled to her as she set a stack on the table and the continued at pick up the rest.

"I'm here to help. You know." She said as she finished. "Stop. I don't want to talk and I don't want your help. So don't even try." He said as he sent her a glare. She walked up to him and rubbed his arms trying to calm him. Her blond hair shined in the light of the office window.

He flicked her hands off. "Stop. Just do your job." He growled. "Whatever grumpy." She giggled in return to his comment. Not soon after, she left. But, not before she made sure everything was in it's perfect spot.

The man looked at the papers that lay on his desk and bushed them off. Knowing that it would bug her. He stood up and looked out his window. The trackers were heading out again. The shifted and dashed in all different directions. He huffed feeling defeated as he walked to his room. The smell of her still lingered. He took a deep breath before going to the bathroom to take a shower and then reality hit him again he walked to the guest bedroom to sleep. He lay there. Not moving. Just thinking of her.

About one in the morning is when he drifted off to sleep.
