Their hands were rough with Emma's soft, sensitive arms. She flinched every so often when one would squeeze too hard and her skin would burn. The two men walked as they slowly tugging more and more until they got to an old gray car.
It looked like it had not been used in years, as the paint was chipped and rusted. One of the men pushed Emma's head down and slide her into the middle seat. The car had an odor of sweat and rust.
Emma was tucked between the two men that had taken her. Her arms were looked at her sides and he legs trapped together. Her arms started to have a dull ache and her butt was fully numb. The two men's arms were slightly jabbing into her sides, causing her to groan with every bump. One she knew as Tod. He was one of Kaden's best friends. But, Emma stayed quiet, feeling the anger come off him in waves.
Emma's hand were sweaty as she sat with them interlocked in front of her. She bit her trembling lip as the driver kept looked back at her with cold eyes.
She didn't move, as the car came to a stop. She sat in the seat as everyone slid out of the small old truck. Knowing that her betrayal had festered inside of them into hate.
"Get out of the car." One of the men demanded. His hands were strong and overpowering Emma as pain shot up her arm. She slowly got out of the car and was face to face with the house she was scared of seeing again. She had loved the house before it was tainted the fear of seeing Kaden.
Tod gripped her arm with great force and walked in long strides to the house. Emma struggled to keep up as she had tripped every once and while. He pulled her into the house and shoved her into the corner of the large living room.
The house had not changed since she left. A grand entrance with white walls and classy black rud lining the hallway. Living room brightly lit from the surrounding windows.
Out of the corner of her eyes, she saw movement. A man walked towards her. Not any man but Kaden himself. The sides of her mouth slightly tugged up. He was in a suit as he seemed to expected her arrival. His eyes twinkle slightly when she looked at him. As he came face to face with her, he sighed excitement.
"I missed you so much," he said. His mouth quivered on her neck as he pulled her into a hug. He pressed small, soft kisses on her neck. She uses to shiver at his touch, crave it almost. But, now it is only a dull throb. "Where were you? Why did you leave?" Kaden breathed out as he pulled back from her neck.
"Kaden i..." She was cut off but him ushering her to the white couch. He grabbed her hand and kissed it as he gently tugged her to his lap.
"Kaden I need to tell you something," she said shyly.
It was like she didn't know him anymore. He had cut his hair. His eyes had bags under them and he was so calm about her running. She thought he would be yelled and telling her that she could get hurt. But, he didn't. He just pulled her closer and kissed her forehead lovingly.
Him kissing her and touching her did not bug her much her because, like Coda, Kaden and Emma also have a mate bond. However, she did not want to fall for Kaden again. But, how could she not?
"Where were you? Are you ok? Did someone hurt you? Did you get hurt? What happened?" Kaden said questioning Emma, as he looked over her arms.
As he examined her hands she slid off his lap. Drifting away from him, to the other side of the couch. But, he followed her and gripped her hand in his.
"I found him," she whispered. Hoping he would not hear.
As the words fell from her mouth Kaden's hands clenched around her small one.
