"Ok, I'm getting out of this death trap!" Emma yelled in a high pitched voice, that conveyed her panic. Her face scrunched up in distaste for the vehicle and her mouth curved down into a frown. Coda could tell she was not happy with his driving skills and most likely would never get into a car with him again. She attempted to pull the door of the truck open. However, Coda had locked the doors so she couldn't jump out of the moving truck.

The phone continued to ring the opening theme song to Star Wars. "Ok, just stay in the truck until I pull over." He said as he rubbed his face with his hand, trying to calm his wired nerves. He pulled over and answered the still ringing phone.

"What the hell Jordan!" Coda was greeted by a man's voice. The power of his alpha tone was coming through the phone loud and clear. "Stealing the biggest herds soon-to-be Luna, or whatever they call them! And the damn beta!" He was clearly mad about something unknown to Coda. However, he put together that when he meant beta, he meant Caleb.

"Who the hell is this?" Coda said gripping the phone a little tighter than intended. But the man's demanding voice was not sitting well with Coda or his wolf.

"This is alpha, Jasper! Who is this answering Jordan's phone?" A slightly confused Jasper said through the phone to the now unknown person on the other end.

"Uncle Jasper?" Coda call in recognition.

"Hey buddy!" The second Jasper heard Coda call him uncle, his voice immediately soften.

"How are you? Good! That's great. Can I speak to your father?" He rushed out not letting Coda answer any of his previous questions.

Uncle Jasper was always like that. He was kind and was always respected by his pack but, he was never on time for anything and, at the same time was always on the go.

He was Coda's father's twin. Though they look nothing alike. While his father had black hair like himself, Jasper had blond hair from his mother.

As kids, they were inseparable when they were young. But, when Jordan found his mate, he left and started his own pack that was made up of rouges. He believed that everyone should be safe and have the chance to have a good life. He also wanted to start a family and have the protection of a pack. Jordan did not want to fight his very close brother for the solo title of alpha.

"No. Wait. What are you talking about? What about the north herd?" Jasper took a deep breath. Coda could tell he had no patience for all of his questions.

"Ok buddy I will call back later and I hope I can speak to your father." He exaggerated the 'hope' like he was telling a young child.

"Wait! No! Stop!" Coda yelled into the phone but he was too late.

"Shit!" He hit his head on the horn out of frustration, making Emma jump at the sudden noise. She had been sitting quietly listening to his and his uncle's conversation. But after, she went straight back to panicking, because she can't get out of that truck.

"Please stop scaring me. I had enough!" She said desperately trying to open the door and on the edge of tears. Coda could tell that she has been under a lot. He could not remember a time where she was not in a stressful situation since she met him.

He grabbed her hand like it was a lifeline. "Please calm down." He squeezed her hand and put his head on her shoulder. "Baby," he said using a cute nickname for her. "I'm really stressed out. I just want to get something to eat and have a good time with you. Please!" Coda said. "It has been stressful moment after stressful moment." He said voicing his percieves thought. Adding to his stress was the situation of not know what is going on around him. All the secrecy has him on edge and he was getting tired of it. He was also, way too hungry. He hadn't eaten in few hours cause of the stress.
