Katie thought of how cruel she had been in the past. "Have I really been that mean?" Katie thought.
Katie could hear the mumble of someone's voice as they walked towards her. She couldn't even recognize the sound. As some one towered over her with a smile, she tried to scream. But she couldn't.
Mrs. Bee was trying to signal her attention. She waved her hand in front of Katie's face, and it only frightened her more.
Dr. Schmitt contacted Mrs. Bridges. "Ma'am, you're daughter is getting worse," He said. Mrs. Bridges hurried to the hospital room as soon as she could.
"Katie? Can you hear me?" She asked. But Katie couldn't hear a thing.
Mrs. Bridges tried to signal her again, but Katie was unable to respond.
"What am I going to do?" She thought.
