Katie felt looser than ever. She could easily move her arms and legs. Mrs. Bee came rushing into her room with Doctor Arthur, Doctor Schmitt, Mr. Riverside, Amber and her mother. "Today, you get to walk, Katie!" Mrs. Bee declared happily. Katie smiled. "Thank you." She said to everyone.
"For what?" Doctor Schmitt asked. Katie smiled at all of them, her friends, her family, yes even Doctor Schmitt and Doctor Arthur felt important. "You've all done so much for me. You've made me a better person. You've all inspired me. You made me who I am today. Thank you." Katie forced back tears, Mr. Riverside was being emotional and crying.
Mrs. Bee smiled. "No. Thank you. You've all taught us," she gestured to Doctor Arthur and Doctor Schmitt. "What true bravery is like. People aren't here just to be people. People are here to change each other." Mrs. Bee said.
Katie nodded, set her feet on the ground, and stood up shakily.Written by TheFlameFangirl
