Katie blinked her eyes open, confused. She looked at the strange lady hugging her and crying on her. "Wh-who are you?" Katie said weakly. The lady proceeded to continue crying on her. "I'm your mother... Your mom, Katie! Don't you remember me?!" The lady screamed. "You've been sleeping for two whole days!" The lady with beautiful blonde hair screamed. "Is this person really my mother?" Katie asked herself. The lady sure seemed convinced.
Katie strained herself to look over the lady's shoulder. An old lady with gray hair was crying behind her, a pretty lady that looked like the lady hugging her was also standing there. Katie's vision was blurry she couldn't exactly tell what was going on. "God..." Was all Katie managed to say.
Katie noticed that she was sore all over and wires were connected to her. She felt numb, she didn't try to move in fear that it would be unsuccessful. Katie simply began to cry with the lady with blonde hair, she knew that she had some sort of connection to the lady, something just told her. Katie was still skeptical that this lady was actually her mother.
The lady with the blonde hair let go of Katie and stood back, sobbing into the other lady with the gray hair's shoulder. "Ma'am, I'm sorry, but we can only have one family member at the moment. I'm sorry," Said Dr. Schmitt. Her gray haired grandma gave her a hug and walked out of the room crying. Katie pushed her head back down on the pillow painfully and fell asleep.
