Katie awoke to the voices. Lots of them. People she had heard before. But she couldn't quite figure out who's voices they were. "I just want to go back to sleep," Thought Katie, "I just wish this were all a dream."
"Oh look!" She's awake!" Said a voice in the crowd. Katie noticed a blurred figure walking toward her. Then other figures followed. "This is Katie," Said the first figure, Mrs. Bee. She felt patting on her forehead. One by one the figures greeted Katie with a kind gesture of a pat on the head. People cared about her.
Katie looked at the people as they set their hands on her head. She noticed, if she stared at a person for long enough, she could make out who they were. The lady in the back was Mrs. Bee. Her mother, Dr. Schmitt, Dr. Arthur, and some people she didn't even recognize were there.
Mrs. Bee walked around the room where Katie stayed, presenting all of the research they had done. Katie stared at each individual person. A group of them were all wearing the same suits. "They must be researchers too," Katie thought. "They must be here to help!"
Filled with hope, Katie turned to her side and closed her eyes. "Goodnight," She heard Mrs. Bee say. "Goodnight Katie," Said the rest of the crowd. A smile was placed onto Katie's face as she dreamed about what was to come next.
