Katie woke up numb as a prune. She could barely see and she felt cut off from the world. The stroke was just getting worse.
Dr. Schmitt gazed into Katie's eyes. She was so weak that she couldn't even gain eye contact. The doctor had a look of despair on his face.
"It's all going to be alright," He said. Even though Katie couldn't understand him, she knew that she was going to be okay. That this would all be over soon.
Mrs. Bee walked into he room with them. She noticed that Dr. Schmitt was feeling bad for Katie. She walked over and sat next to Katie along with Dr. Schmitt.
"Don't worry," She said. "You can trust Dr. Schmitt. You're going to be okay."
