I looked at my reflection. My skin was tanned and my eyes looked tired. The view reminded me of summers as a child going to the beach with my family. We stopped going after Zack started middle school and I missed it. I smiled at the memory.

I walked out of the bathroom and made my way to Cabin D. I walked in to see the boys gathering their things. Josh was helping Matt zip up his over packed bag.

"Does anybody need any help?" I asked, looking around. A few kids turned to me and nodded their heads 'no.' "Great," I went to get my things. I was triple checking to make sure I hadn't forgotten anything when I felt an arm wrap around my waist. I turned to Josh and kissed him on the cheek.

"How'd you sleep?" he asked, releasing me.

"Pretty good. How about you?"

"Same." He grabbed his bag and turned to face me. "By the way, Hayley was looking for you. She told me to send you to the cafeteria ASAP."

"Oh, okay," I said, unsure. "I'll head over now." I said a quick goodbye and left the cabin. I jogged over to the cafeteria and walked in. It was an eerie feeling to be alone in the large space that had been full everyday. The tables were folded and sitting against the walls.

"There you are!" I turned quickly to the source of the voice. Hayley walked up to me with a smile on her face. "How'd it go?"

"How'd what go?"

"Are you kidding me? How'd it go with Josh? Did you tell him?" I smiled when I realized what she meant.

"Yea, I did."

"What did you say? What did he say?" I laughed before explaining it all. I told her everything in as much detail as I could. She listened intently, squealing in excitement every so often. "Aw, Tyler," she said once I finished. "I'm so happy for you!" She pulled me into a tight hug.

"Thanks," I replied into her shoulder. She pulled away and ruffled my hair playfully.

"Parents are gonna be here any minute. I'm gonna miss you."

"I'm gonna miss you, too."

"Give me your phone," she said, holding out her hand. I unlocked it and gave it to her. She clicked a few things before giving it back. I looked at the screen to see it open to my contacts. "Please keep in touch."

"Of course I will," I promised, sliding my phone back into my pocket. She hugged me one last time before leading me towards the door. When we walked outside, all of the kids and counselors were walking to the parking lot where the parents would be. We ran to our separate cabins to get our bags. I heard the cabin door slam behind me as I scooped my bag up onto my arm. I looked around the old cabin before exiting for the last time.

I glanced around at the mass of people, searching for my group. My eyes stopped on a tuft of red hair. I ran to catch up with them. I tapped Josh on the shoulder and slowed to his walking speed. When he saw me, he smiled.

"There you are! I thought Hayley had murdered you," he joked. I laughed and shoved him, playfully. He put his arm around my shoulders and squeezed me. "Has you mom texted you?" I pulled my phone out of my pocket and looked at my lockscreen.

"Nope. Has yours?"

"Yea. She should be here in 20 minutes." I frowned slightly and rested my head against his shoulder. He leaned his against mine.

"Where do you live?"

"I live at {insert address}" I smiled and pulled my head away to look at him.

"That's super close to me!"

"Really?"

"Yea! I live a few streets down. I'm near the Taco Bell," I said.

"Sick!" he exclaimed. We got to the parking lot and stopped walking. I did a quick head count to make sure everyone was there before Mr. Roberts started calling names of kids who's parents were there.

"John Miles," I heard him say. I turned to John and gave him a tight hug before sending him off. It went that same way for a while until he called Josh's name. I turned to him and hugged him tightly. His arms wrapped around my waist and he nuzzled his head into my neck.

"I'll see you tomorrow." His voice was muffled and the vibrations tickled my neck.

"See you tomorrow," I agreed. He placed a kiss onto my cheek as he pulled away. He picked up his bag and turned away. I watched as he tossed his bag into the back seat and sat in the front. He waved at me through the window and I waved back. I didn't take my eyes off of the car until I had to.

"Kyle Winters." I turned to face him and he got up from the grass uneasily.

"Are you okay?" I asked, bending over to be level with him. He nodded and pulled me into a hug.

"Goodbye!" he shouted as he pulled away. I just laughed and waved as his dad helped him with his bag. His dad gave me a smile before closing the door.

I turned back to see that Lucas was the only kid of our group left. I sat down on the ground next to him and he looked up at me.

"Who's picking you up?" I asked.

"Um, my dad. I think," he mumbled, looking back at his hands that were twisting up the grass. "I'm gonna miss you. And Josh."

"I'm gonna miss you, too," I said, smiling.

"Really?" He looked back up at me. He looked sad and my smile faded.

"Really," I said matter-of-factly.

"Lucas Carlisle." His arms were around my neck right away. I hugged him back tightly.

"Come on, Lucas!" I heard a male voice shout. I pulled away to see a man standing with his arms crossed. He had Lucas' same curly hair but his face was tired and rough. Lucas stood up quickly and fumbled with his bag. He said ran towards his dad quickly and put his bag in the back seat. His dad just glared at me until Lucas was in the car. I felt uneasy as they drove away, but just tried to brush away the feeling.

"Tyler Joseph." I stood up with my bag and walked over to my mom's car. As I put my bag in the trunk, she ran out to me.

"Theres my baby!" she squealed. I turned to face her and she held me by my shoulders, examining my face. "You look so much older!"

"I've only been gone two months," I said, laughing.

"Has it been that long!" She laughed at her own joke and ruffled my hair before getting back in the car.
