Chapter 30: Crashed

 

[Daney]

Papunta akong library the time na dumating akong EU. Kailangan ko kasing sagutan ang assignments ko. Three days na rin mula nung makita kong umiyak si Baekhyun sa harap ko. Gusto ko siyang tanungin but ni-isa sa EXO, walang nagpapakita. Even Len. Somehow I missed hanging out with them.

I went on section of Physics. Kinuha ko yung book about sa Law of Interaction.

 

"In every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction." Totoo kaya to? Of course Daney. Ilalagay ba naman sa libro kung hindi diba? Tss.

 

"That law. Another name for Love. F’uck." I looked at him. Three days. Three days siyang nawala kasama nila.

"Luhan.." I murmured his name.

"Why love Daney?" He asked. I nodded. Hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit bigla na lang niya yung sinabi pero nanatili akong nakikinig.

"Simply because If a boy likes a girl. Every action of the girl will reflect to that boy."

I furrowed my eyebrow. I don't understand. Ganun ba kapag mahal ng isang tao ang isa pang tao? Every action nito is mapapansin niya? Paano kung yung flaws ng girl ang ipakita niya? Edi matu-turn off yung lalaki?

"Okay, lemme clear. Let's say na in every action you make, there will always be 'someone' getting attracted.. and interested.. with you."

Nanlaki ang mata ko dun. Why me? And someone? Is it Len? Len always tells me he loves me, right?

"So the Law is like.. Me and Len?" I asked. He furrowed his eyebrows and heaved out a sigh. He leaned closer to me bigla akong parang nakuryente sa sobrang lapit niya.

"You really want to trig my anger don't you Huh, Daney? You’re tempting me Daney.". Nagulat ako pagkatapos niya sabihin yun. What the hell Luhan! 

"It's not Len, nor him." Sabay turo niya dun sa lalaking may salamin na mukhang natakot at umalis din.

 

"It's not about Len, telling you he loves you, every day. You can't trust him easily Daney. That guy's tricky."

"Do you.." I paused when he spoke again.

“Gangdo, you will always be stupid. You never know I'm beginning to like you. And Daney, even you never wanted it, you will always be my Gangdo."

Umalis kaagad siya after that. My cheeks are burning red. So, ako na pala tong masyadong manhid. Hindi ko malaman laman at matanggap tanggap na magugustuhan talaga ako ni Luhan.

I walked through the hallway. Kahapon lang nung matapos ko ang assignments ko with Luhan still bugging me with his words. And again, nawawala na naman ang EXO and Len.

I am wondering where he is.

I took out my phone saka sinagot ang tawag from an anonymous caller.

 

"Hello?"   I greeted first.

"Hello?" I greeted again.

"Who are you?" I asked but still not receiving a response.

 

“Do you know where Cardinal Square is?"    I'm obviously puzzled for hearing her response. I asked her now she's asking me too?

I answered her a Yes. Cardinal Square, was one of the oldest leisure building on the Central Park. For I remember that building was supposed to be tracked down but someone bought it. Now it's an illegal establishment for people who wanted an easy money. Sinabi lang sa akin yan ni Len. 

Dun daw pumupunta ang mga taong nakikipagbakbakan para sa pera.

 

"You need to help Ken."

 

"I’m sorry you’ve got the wro-- " 

“Len.”    The call ended. I need to help Len?

Oh my gosh. No way.

I paid the cab and started running wild. Nandito ako ngayon sa tapat ng Cardinal Square. As expected madilim, pero may kaunting liwanag coming from inside. Maingay dun sa loob. Parang bar sa ingay at maraming nagsisigawan. Nagsimula na akong kabahan. 

  

I ran hysterically when my eyes spotted Len.

He's crawling inside the ring trying to escape a monster ready to crash him with his gigantic body.   He’s dying.
