Have you ever had those moments where you knew a few years later that you made a mistake? One that so desperately you wished you had Hermiones time turner from Harry Potter? Marrying Grant wasn't a mistake just Ariana leaving Riker was. Now they are both settled down but not with each other. That's how Ariana felt.
"Dads coming tonight as well."Mary said informing her mother about the concert tonight.
She nodded and slipped my shoes on "Ready to go pick up the girls?" Ariana asked.
Mary nodded and they left the house. Once they picked up her four friends and band mates they went to the stadium where they were performing tonight.
"You girls have an hour." Ariana reminded them as they started to get ready.
Smiling at them as they rushed around the room Ariana remembered how many times she used to watch Riker,Rydel,Ross,Ellington and Rocky do this. However Mary was in a girl band which meant it was more rushed so how Rydel would act. Speaking of Rydel she was coming tonight and Ariana was excited to see her best friend.
"Is Mary in there?"She heard a voice ask from behind her since she was outside their dressing room as the girls were getting changed.
Ariana seen it was Riker and she nodded "Yeah they are changing. I'm sure they'll be done in a minute."
"How are you Ariana?" Riker asked looking into her eyes.
She shrugged "I'm good."
"You're lying. You aren't good, I can see it in your eyes."He said
Ariana sighed and was about to say how she missed him but Jezabell opened the door.
"Make up and hair needs done please Miss R."Jezabell smiled
She nodded at her and came in with Riker "Who's going first?"She asked
Molli hoped in the chair before the others "Sorry guys this hair needs the motherly touch of Miss R."she laughed
Once Ariana was done with the girls make up and hair she sent them out to the stage. Finding Rydel the two plus Riker was in the crowd.
"I'm so proud of our daughter."Ariana told Riker .
He looked down at her and smiled putting his arm around her "She gets her talent from you." he said to her
Ariana laughed and Riker seen a sparkle in her eye that he hadn't seen since they got married. For the first time in a long while they felt as if they were young again and first in love.
After the concert Mary said they were going out and she wouldn't be home until the next day.
"I'll walk you to your car." Riker said smiling
She agreed and they walked in silence to Ariana's car "Thank you." she smiled
For one moment when they were looking into each others eyes Ariana's heart skipped a beat. Taking that perfect moment like the movies Riker and Ariana leaned into a kiss. Ariana wrapped her arms around his neck while Riker wrapped his around her waist pulling her closer.
"I missed you Ariana."Riker said to her.
Reality settling in her mind Ariana pushed him away from her "Riker you're married and so aren't I!"she said
"Do you even love him?"He asked
Truthfully she did love Grant and he made her so happy but there was that small part of her that needed and wanted Riker.
"I have to go."She said.
Riker shook his head "That's all you know how to do!"he yelled
"What the hell are you talking about?" she asked crossing her arms over her chest
