Over the summer, my group chat in Whatsapp exploded. We were "The Crew", as I called it.
My friend Eric and I were talking one night about the girls we liked.
He already knew about her, and he supported me as much as I supported him. Almost.
He showed me a picture of some little creature with the words "virtual hug sent".
"Girls love that stuff," he said. I shrugged my shoulders and saved it just in case.
Tonight, she was feeling down. As the rest of the group was a active, she was at home alone but she was sad.
I wanted her to be happy. I felt bad for her because she had been busy working while we were having so much fun.
Of course, Eric had to steal my chance.
He sent the virtual hug picture in the group chat, and she loved it.
Wonderful. Are you kidding me, Eric?!
Just like that, it was the beginning of the end to my friendship with Eric. He was nothing but a backstabber and a bandwagon.
I decided to go to bed, so I said goodnight to her, and I was knocked out.
I lay on my bed, hit by the fist of the world.
