Every year, a local church hosted a fair. They brought in tons of booths, rides, and other games.
Last year, I never got a chance to go since I was out of town that weakened.
I had planned to go with Jason, Eric, Gavin, Chris, and some of my other friends.
Emilia was asking me when I was going. "We have to all meet up," she said.
"I'll be there around six or seven," I said.
Will she be there?
I wondered about her, so I decided to ask if she was going. Turns out, she originally planned to go the next day, but when she heard about the party going on today, she quickly rearranged her plans.
I arrived with Chris and met up with my guys friends. The lines were horribly long for everything. Even the ticket booth took twenty minutes to get through.
After we were set, the bachelor party set off to have some fun.
Every once in a while, I would spin around, looking out for the girls.
I was in line to ride a super fast spinning ride when I heard someone call out.
"Heyyyyyyyy!" It was a girl, and just by that word I knew who it was.
Emilia came straight over to me and gave me a strangely long hug.
Her best friend, Lexi was right behind her. Standing next to her, was the person who I've been obsessing over for too long now.
She looked super cute in her sweater, and I had no idea why. She just looked naturally was attractive to me, but I didn't let it affect my night.
Emilia finally detached from me, and I turned around to see all my guy friends giving me faces.
Oh god no.
The line was inching forward about a centimeter an hour, so the girls hopped in line with us.
I didn't really like her anymore. It didn't matter me whether she talked to another guy or not. She was just a friend.
After the intense spinning ride, which made me lose my appetite, the girls followed us to to a bumper car ride.
We were all officially one group.
"Let's ride one together," Emilia said to me. I couldn't pinpoint exactly what her motives were, but they didn't seem ordinary.
She was beginning to want to be around me more recently.
We ended up on separate bumper cars, but on the next ride, she wanted to sit next to me. And the one after that.
To be honest, I sort of liked her but also didn't.
All my friends kept telling me things like: "Emilia likes you, you know that right?" and "She's hot."
She was extremely good-looking. She had dirty-brown hair, pursed lips, brown-ish and green-ish eyes, and a nice body. She was also extremely nice and loyal.
I decided to give her a chance and see where the winds brought me to.
There were no winds of change. Just a huge hurricane that sent me around and around.
