Time was speeding up again. April was right around the corner, and so was testing.
Spring break lasted about a day. And when we got back to school, things could only get harder.
Romeo and Juliet. This time, she was there.
We watched the movie throughout that whole week in my english class.
The actor who played Juliet even had the the same hair as her. It was a beautiful dark brown river flowing down her body.
Watching the movie and not looking at her every once in a while was impossible. I tried not to feed the monster anymore, but the story was too romantic for me.
Romeo had found something to live for, or in that case, to die for. I was still searching for my purpose in life, my true calling.
I was good at many things, but there wasn't something I had a natural-born gift for.
Her writing was unreal.
"You have to become a writer. You have to," I told her. I wanted her to chase her dreams and excel in it. She was the best writer I knew.
She sat in front of me the day we finished the movie.
She was right there, yet she could've been in another country. What's the difference?
Romeo and Juliet kissed one last time before they fell to the clutches of poison.
I'm not poisoned, but all I got was a "goodbye."
