chapter 1~ Party time

Nikki's p.o.v ~

wohooo! it's finally my 16th birthday, I'm going out with my friends and boyfriend and I'm just getting ready. I squeeze into the pretty blue dress and start to curl my long blonde hair - burning myself as usual - now that my hair is perfectly curled I have about 30 minutes to do my make-up, I don't like wearing too much make-up so I only put on some bright pink lip gloss and some mascara to make my bright green eyes stand out and slide on my heels. ok so I have 20 minutes left what should I do? I decided to go downstairs and spend some time with  mum before I leave. I walk down the stairs carefully step by step trying not to fall while walking in my sparkly pink heels, when I finally get down to the bottom I find my mum baking in the kitchen as usual. I walk up behind her and give her a kiss on the cheek, she flinched slightly but then realised it was me and turned around, she looked me up and down then smiled "you look beautiful!" she exclaimed causing me to blush a little

" thank you mum, you know who I got my looks from" I laughed lightly,

  "of course dear you get the positive things from me and the rest from your dad" she joked and I laughed a little,  we don't usually talk about my dad but when we do it's usually jokes, we don't have don't have many serious conversations but I can always talk to her about anything, to be honest I don't know what I would do without her. I have a step-dad but he's usually working which is good in a way because I get to spend quite a lot of time with my mum. Mum and I sat in the kitchen and chatted for a while until the door bell rang and I got a little nervous,  I knew it was my friends and boyfriend who came to pick me up but I don't usually go to clubs so I'm worried about how this will turn out. What if they don't like my outfit?  is my make-up ok? Shut up and answer the door! I shook my head to get the annoying little voice to shut up. I gave my mum a kiss on the cheek and told her I would be back quite late since I don't want her to worry "aw don't worry dear me and your step-dad will be going out for dinner anyway and we need to get you're present"she replied sweetly, she already gave me a necklace yesterday and I don't want anything else but I didn't have time to argue with so we said our goodbyes. I walked over to the door and opened it slowly, my boyfriend Jason was waiting wearing loose jeans and a random shirt... well now I feel like I've overdressed.  I looked up at him and he smiled "you look great babe" he complemented me, I blushed deeply even though I don't like being called babe but I just ignore it and smile. That's when I see my friends Jaz and Lulu standing behind him I step out side and shut the door behind me. My friends attack me with complements and hugs ahh I love these crazy girls, we walk over to the car since Jaz is driving I'm in the front seat and Jason and Lulu are in the back. The drive isn't that long but it's long enough for Jaz and Jason start arguing as usual this time it's about music Jason offended one direction and Jaz almost attacked him but stopped her self because she was driving,  you see I'm a fan but not an obsessive  fan nor is Jaz but she does love them. We stop outside a club and head in showing our fake ID's. The club is filled with people drinking, making out, most are 'dancing' or in other words grinding against each other like animals eww. we walked off to the bar everyone ordered a drink but I declined "oh come on its your birthday"  Lulu is the one to try getting me drunk once again but I still remember how that ended last time 

"I will have one later" I smiled at her knowing that I won't be drinking at all but she won't realise she'll probably be knocked out within the next hour or two and I'll have to sort her out as usual.  I don't drink,  I know what it does to people and I only got drunk once and it was lulu's fault.
