the boys have been away for two days now and me and Jaz have done some catching up. my doctor announced that I will be able to finish chemio early because the cancer has been eliminated but I have to stay in hospital for another week for check ups. Jaz hasn't been feeling well lately but I'll be home in 4 days and I'll make sure she gets rest.
4 days later it's 5am and I'm going home. by the time I get there it's 6am and Jaz doesn't know yet so it's gonna be a surprise. I twist the key and walk in, the house smells like Harry I really miss him and I can't believe I won't get to see him for a year. Jaz was sleeping on the couch but woke up suddenly "hey. Sorry for waking you up. But on the bright side. I'm home!" "it's ok I haven't slept well lately. for the last couple of days I've been sick in the morning and I feel like complete sh.." she stops mid sentence and runs to the bathroom, I follow her just in time to grab her hair out of the way before she started vomiting. when she was done she stood in front of the mirror and brushed her teeth "Jaz, you should go to a doctor you could be ill or...." no she wouldn't be pregnant would she? they both know they're not ready for kids "Jaz are you sure you're not preg.." she cuts me off before I finish "nikki I'm scared. I thought I might be but I pushed the idea out of my mind but now I'm not sure" she started sobbing and I couldn't stand watching her upset "Jaz, get dressed. we're gonna get you pregnancy tests to make sure before we start panicking" "ok" we both got dressed and headed to the only place that was open this early in the morning; the pharmacy, I hate the nosey old ladies that work there but this is important. we walk through the door and amedietly all the old ladies are starting at us like we're criminals, I tried persuading Jaz to ask for the pregnancy tests but she was too embarrassed so I had to face the grumpy old lady "hello. Could I have 3 pregnancy tests please" the lady eyed me up and down and a look of disgust formed on her face "aren't you too young for that sort of thing" she sounded outraged and I had to try really hard not to laugh at her "well I'm actually 17 so it's legal and anyway, they're not for me" I said with a smirk. The lady just scoffed and murmured something about teens these days being ill mannered . she walked off and soon came back with the test and handed them to me "that'll be £9.75" I handed her a ten pound note "keep the change" I smiled sweetly and headed out with jaz. we got home and she did all the tests, now we're waiting for the results; neither of us wanting to look at the 3 tests layed out before us. The time is up and it's time to find out "can you check. I'm too worried " Jaz asked and I nodded in response. The first one was positive and I hoped it was just a messed up one but the other two were also positive "jaz they're all positive"
