chapter 14~ childhood friends

~ Nikki's p.o.v ~

I have all my stuff and I'm at jazz's door. I knock and the door swings open amedietly, revealing an over exited jazz. jeez she looks scary she literally dragged me in and ran into her room locking the door behind her. "alright put on your dress first and then I can do your make-up and hair" she said cheerfully is she high?  "ok..." I only agreed because I was scared that she would still do it even if I objected.  I squeezed into my little black dress it isn't my usual style but I'm not gonna be me tonight, I'm gonna have fun. Jaz looked at me with wide eyes "you look great gurll!" I smiled awkwardly "I feel like this is too revealing" I said looking down, it was a bit longer than mid thigh but I still felt like it was too short "oh shut up you look great!  now sit yo pretty ass down its hair and makeup time" she said once again grinning like a maniac. she started with my make up applying some moisturiser because I don't wear foundation then some red lipstick and then she moved onto doing my eyes doing a slight smokey eye effect but using light colours and now she's getting closer and closer to my eye with the mascara and  I've never been this scared in my life, she looks so creepy with that smile. she finally finished straightening my hair and did her own, she put on her red dress very similar to mine but slightly shorter,  and quickly did her makeup we both look in the mirror "woah we look classy" we both started singing classic by Mkto and giggled at the end "yeah. such ladies" we both put on our heels which are actually the same but mine are red and hers are balck "Jaz were like opposites. I have a black dress and red heels and you have a red dress and black heels" "oh yeah . I didn't even notice! come on the boys are all waiting downstairs. oh I hope you don't mind but jade and Harry will be joining us" I'm so happy and I'm not gonna let him ruin it for me! "sure it's ok" I smiled and we headed down stairs and amedietly felt nervous when 6 boys and some familiar girl were staring at me "damn you look hot! " Louis whistled, I amedietly felt my cheeks burn up so I looked down but liam was soon there to hug me "don't listen to him you look beautiful don't hide you're gorgeous face" he whispered "thanks lili" I smiled and looked up at him and hugged him back, he's such a good friend. Our little moment was ruined my a cough we both jumped apart as if nothing happened, it was niall "so this is the lucky fellow who will be taking you on a date tonight" he said introducing me to James "hi" I said and suddenly I was engulfed in a hug "hi I'm James nice to meet ya" he smiled, for some reason the hug felt familiar but I decided to ignore it for now. I looked up to see Harry's eyes staring at me but as soon as he realizes I see him staring he turns away. the plan is working!  I hugged zayn good bye and then liam but it lasted longer and meant more to me. We all got into the car but it was only a 6 seater and we also had the driver "there's not enough seats" Jaz stated "no problem" James smiled and pulled me onto his lap, I felt awkward and I could tell Harry was looking at me. We got to the restaurant and no doubt, it was fancy as hell. We got in and headed to our table it just happens that Harry sat by me on my left and James was on the right. We all ordered and we were now waiting for our food while drinking wine so I decided to start a conversation "what is your favorite memory of your childhood? " I asked everyone, Niall was first to speak "when me,James and Greg decided to ride our bikes down a very steep hill and we all ended up with bruises and cuts" he smiled "I think my favourite was when I went to Disney land" Jaz said "my favourite memory is actually a person. she was my best friend until we were like 8 because I had to move away, I really miss her smile, her cute dimples" why do I feel like this is about me? I thought I knew him from somewhere. was this the James I was once  best friends with? "we used to build forts and argue about what video games to play. she gave the best hugs kinda like yours nikki" he said looking at me as if he was trying to figure something out "James did her mum keep calling you Jamie? " I asked with a smile "yes. ..." realisation took over his face "oh god!  you're nikki boo? I've missed you so,so much especially your hugs!"  he said hugging me tight and I returned it. damn I've misses him.
